If I was a brilliant scientist I'd invent the time travel machine right at this moment after seeing the picture. Gives you enough motive to do that.
The one and only game I wish we could have on PS4.
If Mario is an actor he might not be Italian after all. Maybe he's faking the accent and wearing a fake moustache. Maybe he's not that fat and there's a pillow wrapped around his belly under the red shirt. Count that as a theory as well.
If we're talking about episodic games like Telltale's Walking Dead which is divided into seasons and episodes, or TV-ish crime dramas like L.A. Noire or even thrillers like Alan Wake (and the upcoming Quantum Break) yeah, I'd love to see more games like that. I'm a sucker for movies and games so that's the perfect combination for me. Movie tie-ins however, are not usually how we expect them to be in terms of overall quality. Official movie games suffer the same fate in mos...
Is it just me, or does Nissan LEAF really sound like a vacuum cleaner in this demo?
Edit: Oopsie, turns out it REALLY is an electric car. I didn't know that.
I can't understand the hate towards Windows 8. It's not as innovative as XP, and Windows Vista was a total disaster in terms of performance, I can agree with those. But Windows 8 looks well, works well, performs well on games.
I'm using 8.1 user preview right now and it's quite stable. It finally boots up quite fast, which was a major drawback when compared to Mac OS X (which I believe is still superior). But is it something to "hate"? I don't t...
That's what I'd call hot news.
I'm so ready for this.
Asynchronous complex processes? Dayummm!
It's probably just a flashy way of saying "multitasking", but if you only say "PS4 can do multitasking" it doesn't sound as cool. You gotta say "PS4 can accomplish elaborate multifaceted algorithms within an exceedingly accelerated time frame to ensure the optimal multi-leveled experience".
It's this gentleman: http://goo.gl/3kZZ0
Regional launch was a bad idea to begin with.
You did the right thing with the DRM and region lock, but this issue is still waiting to be adressed. You know what needs to be done, Microsoft: a worldwide launch, just like Sony do.
Here it comes!
I'd love to see a sequel to the POP: Prodigy. That game is one of the most underrated games of this generation.
I just love the ending the way it is.
It's mature, thoughtful and most importantly, not cliche. I love when developers dare to be different. It was an extremely modest and humble ending (which I absolutely love) to one of the greatest games of this generation.
Red Dead Redemption, Bioshock Infinite and this game, redefined the concept of storytelling in video games, and both games had superb endings to their own rights.
To be honest that was one of the few reasons I bought my Vita.
Aaaand we've got the middle finger instead.
Hardware matters. It matters because one of these boxes will give you the best value for the money, and price/performance is what consumers initially care about when they buy a product.
Nintendo is there to prove that. Great games, weak console, and almost nobody except Nintendo fans care about it right now. All we talk about is DA GRAPHIX nowadays (which is quite normal considering the fact that we're on the eve of a new generation) and better hardware ensures that you...
Why?
Why another remake when there's already Twin Snakes (made by Silicon Knights), which has decent graphics in terms of today's standarts? It looks just as good as Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3, why would you need to update the visuals again? Metal Gear Solid 1 is a terrific game, but how many times can a gamer listen to the same story?
If they're going to take that route once more, I'd prefer them to remake Metal Gear 1-2 instead. That'd m...
To make money, perhaps?
And yeah, I'm not fun at parties.
It's Snake's severed hand. It'll hunt you down.
Before you guys get hyper excited as I did earlier today, let me just tell you that the PC Gamer poster mentioned in the article is not a serious teaser, as confirmed by the guy who did it: http://goo.gl/UkE8u
About the HL2 update, I have no idea what it might be. I lost my hope for a new episode long time ago, though.
At least he's not pretending like he knows about gaming, that's some sincerity I can appreciate.
It's another shooter from the guys who revolutionized the genre and defined the modern TPS formula, which is followed by many developers even today. Not to forget, they were also the first devs who brought bullet time to the shooters.
I can distinctly remember the first time I saw Max Payne on PC. Not many games had the same wow effect on me since.
