Product presentations?
Unless Nvidia assign a game development unit and start making video games which use the engine to utilize the full potential of their GPU units, I wouldn't possibly care LESS about how gorgeous their presentations look. They could draw the most detailed character ever with UE4 for all I care, and as long as we don't see it in ACTUAL video games, it's as good as nothing.
Next story.
I think I like Sixasis controller the most. Before you say "but it doesn't have built in rumble", I'd like to say yeah, I know it and I'm perfectly fine with that as without that component the controller feels as light as a bird.
Even extensive gaming sessions don't give you a wrist hurt, not at the slightest level at all. For that reason alone I love it, and I'm still using the hell out of it over the DS3. I know gamers care about rumble a lot ...
I'll just play the devil's advocate here, but I just don't understand why getting disconnected from the device for a limited period of time is a deal-breaking issue. I mean, in no way I think it's a good idea but it's not as "terrible" as some people make it out to be. It's not a good idea because if you don't have internet access, you don't have your gaming console either. But if you have a network at home and you're always online anyway, like mo...
Ryse being the new HALO/Gears of Microsoft?
I honestly can't picture that. No matter how good the new Kinect technology will be, core gamers will not be heavily interested in a motion-control game. For that reason alone it's almost impossible for the game to be the new HALO, even though it might be a good game in itself.
It's actually kind of depressing to see that a Kinect game is considered a "mega-launch" title while Sony has already...
I remember some journalists saying something like "It looks close to the CGI trailer, especially the character designs."
Well... Yeah. Pretty close I guess, if you're using glasses as thick as the bottom of a soda bottle.
Screenshots remind me of Mark of the Ninja, which is a good thing. I'll be looking forward to the Vita version.
Black Mask, finally!
He's one hell of a villain, let the guy have the respect he deserves. I advise you to watch/read "Under the Red Hood" if you'd like to know more about him.
Are we comparing grass now? Jesus...
I myself am looking forward for the air comparison.
Indeed, they commented that they have no comment.
This should be a good start: http://goo.gl/4pqc6
There's also Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for iOS/Android devices.
You can also check Battlefield 1943 on Playstation Network. None of them are portable but those could give you an idea of what Battlefield is all about.
Probably most multiplatform games will. Devs don't even care for enhancing the games for PC anymore. Exclusives would be another story but who develops exclusively for PC anyway, even Crytek gave up.
Embrace the next generation of micro transactions, gentlemen.
Good to know, I really hope they pull it off. It's difficult to settle with the lesser version when you've already seen the better one.
Huh? That's interesting, as the gameplay trailer we've watched recently had all the clichés you'd expect from a typical military movie/game.
That's not necessarily a bad thing, I sometimes love spending time on those action roller coaster type of games but that's still kind of an ironic statement to make.
Guess it's not the perfect gaming PC then, since the console is not even able to run the engine as it's originally intended.
Don't get me wrong... PS4 is capable of incredible things and KZ Shadowfall is a strong premise, but Epic are just contradicting with themselves here. I just had to point that out.
Oh yeah, and Epic has the right to say that?
Enlighten me, please. According to this Epic executive, PS4 is like a super computer, and yet the earlier version of UE4 Demon Knight presentation which was said to be running on PC looked way better than the recent version running on PS4...
Now wrap your head around that.
Assumimg that it was not a typo, would that be Die Hard Trilogy for SEGA Saturn/Playstation? If that's the case, "yippee-ki-yay!" is what you're looking for.
On topic: The new voice sounds good enough, if the character was Solid I'd have a real problem with it, but it's Big Boss, and as he was voiced by Doyle in the fourth installment we already know that his voice wil naturallyl change as he gets older. The Ground Zeroes part though, is still probl...
I have a strong feeling that you're going to be disappointed.
It looks kind of like a typical cross-generation game to me.
I mean, in some scenes it looks just like Battlefield 3, but after the helicopter chase scene the visuals go crazy. It happens though, when a game is set to be released for both current and next-gen consoles. I honestly think this in no way indicates the graphical prowess of next-gen consoles, as I believe that to be regarded as a truly next-gen game, the product should ONLY be released for the next-gen consoles. I ...
So they insanely decided to revese the position of directional pad with the buttons? Yep, that seems totally legit to me.
