They're probably waiting for the Nextbox announcement as well to place next-gen logos. A previous poster said "Available on all home consoles" even before PS4 was announced.
When they took over, the game was probably at a near-complete state, so there shouldn't be any problem.
Not the visuals mate, they're talking about the gameplay style/mechanics.
That's true but I still find it hard to believe that it's something that can be rendered by PS4/Nextbox's hardware.
Have you guys watched the Nvidia's GPU conference? They showcased something like this: http://goo.gl/rnG5X
It's something we're "supposed" to have in the next couple of years, and yet it doesn't look just as impressive as the so-called Joakim CGI. And I'...
Nope. It's Trolling People Project.
For the love of God, use some logic people... Why would it be CGI? You've seen the Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain videos right, you've actually seen how the models done with FOX Engine looked... right?
So, again, why would that be CGI if we ALREADY know what FOX engine looks like, and what it's capable and not capable of? The truth is, for such an IMPRESSIVELY detailed facial simulation, you'd need something like a VOLTA series of Nvidia's next-gen GPU...
Beware for the spoilers:
Metal Gear Solid 3, oh man the ending. Betrayed, used up, grieving for the mentor he had to kill, Snake sheds a tear from the only eye he's left with, while he salutes the grave of The Boss. That's the only moment you see a "Snake" character from the MGS universe crying.
AC Revelations, Altair's death scene. "Press A to take a sit and rest" moment, and the monologue of old Ezio, his desire of revealing ...
I wouldn't put graphics over gameplay but I'd say graphics are just as important to me. I can stand a game if the gameplay is mediocre but graphics are great, just for the sake of eye candy visuals. But I find it extremely hard to stand a game with solid gameplay, but sh#t graphics. It's 2013, for Christ's sake, we were supposed to have flying cars a couple of years ago. Where are the Avatar-quality games we were promised?
My conclusion is, both are equally i...
For the last couple of years, I started reading/watching reviews only AFTER I beat the games so gaming journalism can go kiss a duck for all I care. I only use internet media to hear about the news before magazines come out.
The only issue I have with Dead Space 3 is the nonsensical story. Other than that the game itself was good enough.
Oh come on... Enough with the "Crysis blows everything PS4 could do" talk.
Look, I'm a PC gamer myself. I have a decent gaming rig, played Crysis 2 with all the mods you can imagine, with HD texture packs. Played Crysis 3 at max settings @1080p. I've always been a fan of Crysis myself (well, up until 3 came out, that game is really just a tech demo, my favorite is still Crysis 2) and I really do believe that anyone who thinks or says Killzone Shadow Fall loo...
Couldn't find the video on Moby Dick's website, that's possibly not real.
Oh yeah? Is this CG as well, then?

Some people are pushing it too hard.
Could be. Another possibility is that those are actually same games, but that option is kind of ruled out as there's a hidden "Metal Gear Solid V" written above the Phantom Pain logo as seen in the trailer. Some people believe that V actually refers to Vita, as Kojima has never used Roman numerals for MGS titles so far, which means that Metal Gear Solid Phantom Pain can be a seperate game designed for Vita. We'll have to wait for GDC to find out.
Listen to this while you read the story and it all suddenly starts making sense:

Lf_sIcKmAn,
A game of that caliber would not only sell very well to gamers who already own a Vita as they're starving for home-console quality games, but also boost the system sales dramatically. Not only it would prove that Vita has a great hardware but also it'd show that Fox Engine is a highly optimizable beast of an engine, so it's great advertisement for their engine marketing as well. I don't see why it could be a bad business move, as you stated.
He has many names and many faces. People know him as Joakim, Koajim, Koimaj, Kojima, and many other names.
We gaming people however, refer to him as the legend of video games.
More like Phantom Pain on Vita, with those visuals that'd be achieving impossible in my book.
It's a possibility. And people saying it looks too good to be a Vita game should take a look at Killzone Mercenary.
It's one of the most facepalm enducing gaming rumors this industry has ever seen in the last decade. Jesus...
