Well after yesterday's pre-order debacle, the fact that Sony did not extend me an email invite even though I have owned multiple playstations from every generation and been a playstation plus subscriber since the very beginning even before it was required for online play, Microsoft just picked up a pre-order customer in me.

Imagine a scenario where Halo has been shown, looked really bad, was delayed and removed from launch lineup and then Sony comes out and drops a new killzone built specifically for next gen. Killzone would finally realize its promise of being the true Halo killer it was promised to be all those years ago. But I am not expecting a new Killzone. @Juvia, cmon now, I always own every system and was planning on getting the series X first because of Halo, but they have literally nothing that shouts must have to anyone at or near launch. Why would people get excited for the series s? If you are going to outright buy it I would much prefer to spend an extra 100 and get a console well over twice as powerful in the PS5 digital assuming that comes in at 399 along with its great catalog of exclusives. And if you are goin to finance it with gamepass why on earth would you get the gimped version instead of the Series X and be able to play games on the most powerful next gen console.
Good thing I dont care about reviews because the two 2k games I have liked to play the most in this generation were the two worst reviewed lmao. Gameplay is not king to most of these reviewers.
Game actually plays much different and there is a whole new park on the beach this year. Most of the assetts and animations are the same but i dont know what people are expecting when they are building another version for next gen at the same time. This game is as much of a jump as 20 was to 19 and it is a far superior playing game. This is coming from a long time critic.

I disagree with you guys saying you have the parts already. I have a pretty fine machine(top end for the time) with a 1080 and an i7 6600k 16gb ram and I'm still thinking I will have to upgrade my motherboard, faster ram, a new cpu and better cooling to accommodate the new cards. And I would like to get the 3090, so how much is that going to cost. My spare parts chilling around are not going to allow me to just throw something together with a new top of the line graphics card lmao.
Can it do 4k 120 with rt turned on on high settings. That would be much more applicable with many buying the 4k 120 tv sets with hdmi 2.1. If I can get get the most out of my new LG 48cx I would sell some stuff to buy it.
Even though the series X has technical spec advantage I am not convinced that will be the case at all especially early gen. It seems that the ps5 has catered everything with the ease of development in mind and there is probably a reason almost all next gen 3rd party gameplay has been shown on the ps5 to this point. It wouldn't surprise me at all if games actually run better out of the gates on the PS5
