I am so sad, was the launch game that interested me the most as I am a mp gamer primarily and I never managed score a PS5. And it is dropping for no extra money. Man now I spent a ton of money on new gaming rig and found an xbox series x at my local walart so I am all cashed out.

Just because they got their ass handed to them the first time they tried and are too afraid to ever try again they rage against anything mp on any game. It is pathetic really. Like how unbelievably good mp was on TLOU and then they are on here celebrating that 2 didn't come with a MP component. It is pathetic and selfish really.
It does not hold parity it is clearly superior in the frame rate department which is really surprising to me as I intended to buy an xbox in part because i thought it would have the frame rate advantage especially at 120. The difference here is like a 10 frame advantage a good portion of the time which is not insignificant.

Yes the haptic innovations are probably amazing and give substantially more immersion to the games, but the problem with playing shooters on the dual sense is that it is not set up for competition. same here, I wanted to switch my pro from my tv to my ultrawide 1440p monitor to improve input lag, but going from 4k hdr to 1080 on a screen not really made for that resolution was a huge drop in visuals. I was really sour about them not including that display setting and ended up gaming a lot more on my X because of it.
I completely agree, even if they put a couple of detachable back buttons it would have been the perfect controller to ship with the console. As a competitive gamer I can just not go back to a traditional controller after using the elite and then buying a scuf for the Playstation. Sony is really behind in the pro controller regard and if they would have just included optional back buttons they would have went from behind to the market leader in that market even if it is niche.

C'mon man, playstation already has that locked up and have abandoned mp experiences. If anything they should separate themselves by being the console choice for multiplayer and competitive gamers. They should tout the power advantage by targeting higher and more consistant fps and push for lower latency and input lag. This really rubs me raw, we just bought one for our daughter who is turning 12 soon and saving it for her bday but we don't even allow her to have have a facebook account yet.
After thinking about it a bit the only AAA titles to release on the series x in months is RE and MLB and one of those is made my Sony lmfao. And this is coming from someone that owns a Series X but not a PS5
