I don’t get this comment. I bought a liquid cooled 4090 for I think around $1650. Where are you getting the $3500 from?
Well hopefully the resale value stays high so I can upgrade for less cost. My 4090 is still hitting hard though and I have no reason to upgrade now. Mostly play apex legends and am running that at 4k 240fps

Why do people react to this clickbait material and root so hard one way or another? Just look at some data. It was the highest selling console on Amazon over the time period so it’s doing just fine. A bunch of people that can’t or don’t want to afford it are rooting so hard for it to fail is pretty ridiculous. Some of these are probably the same suckers that spend $500+ over the course of a year on micrtransactions.

I think this is the first time anyone working for sega has actually confirmed it’s being made. There has just been a lot of rumors, speculation, and leakers, but nobody working for sega said specifically it was being made until now.
Don’t listen to that stupid shit, I play on an 83 inch tv and also on 32 inch 4k monitors. Going up to 4k and better setting makes a huge improvement on both setups. And it’s not just resolution, there will be more quality, more detail on objects, etc.
Not everyone likes pve, playing any kind of bot gets stagnant and does not have legs. Grow a pair and compete.
Naughty dog and guerilla made some of the best mp games of all time, just because you do have the nerve to put your skills to the test you want to rob mp gamers of great experiences and box great teams into doing only one thing. And that performance mode will have the same fidelity as the og fidelity mode but at 2x the frame rate. It’s so stupid people won’t acknowledge these things because they either root for another team or they don’t want to afford it so try to convince themselves and everyone else it’s shit.

People just like to react, the tech is much higher with well over double the hard drive capacity. Think about how apple up charges for incremental hard drive improvements. I’ve sold my ps5 to my brother for 450 Allowing him to pay me 100 per month so what is actually 250 more to upgrade. It cost me 200 from the 4 to the 4 pro. No big deal.
I mean if two games basically look almost exactly the same but one is running at twice the frame rate that is a HUGE win. People pay well over a $1000 for a graphics card that would show that level of improvement. As an example I used to play apex legends on a 3080 at about 240fps. But I paid 1500 for the 4090 and now play the game at 240fps but in 4k at high quality on my Alienware oled. It cost a lot but I don’t regret it for a second.
Personally the price doesn’t bother me, it’s $100 more expensive than I estimated but I was unable to get a ps5 until 5 full months after release. I would pay 100 for the 5 months of use to be honest. That’s like taking my fam out to eat one time. And I did not expect the 2TB which is a huge win for me so the price is easily justifiable. I already have my og waiting to be sold to my brother for 450 as long as I let him pay me 100 per month.
Shit I would hope so, if it’s not my 4090 is in it for the long hall. Honestly this shit should never be over $1400.
