But now you're happy that hundreds of thousands of gamers are heart broken when you know good and well the sp game wont be any different. Now you just get to pretend your good at the game instead of trying out online, getting handled and then quitting and complaining that mp sucks instead of practicing to get better.
I refuse to buy it now. I only care about multiplayer and tlou was one of the all time best. I'll piss on this game before playing it.

This litterally just went from my most hyped game to the biggest disappointment I've ever felt in gaming. I'm done witg the ps4. They only cater to single player now. I was on the ps bandwagon for a long time because i loved their mp experiences in tlou, resistance, KZ etc. But they are all gone now. Guess its time to actually see what gears is all about. I literally will not buy a ps5 over an xbox because of this news.

Last of Us is the best by a wide margine. A large percentage of the people that played it only played the single player which is why some dont consider it, but even after all these years there is still a dedicated base playing it. Many people bought the remastered ps4 version simply to continue the mp as i did.

Funny that I just came upon this article after the Pacman/Thurman fight concluded. Oh man, what a freaking fight. I loved all the halo games but people certainly allow nostalgia to cloud their judgments. Halo 5's MP is far superior to Reach and the series even after Bungie did a great job implementing new gameplay choices and graphics. Now past Halo games were probably better for their time and stood out more as comparative to their competition, but Halo 5 gameplay (especially MP) was fantastic and I hope they do not disregard all of the newer elements due to irrational nostalgia complaints.
Then why do I constantly dominate leaderboards using the original weapons, mostly the hunting rifle, revolver, and the shorty. It is not pay to win because the weapons are incredibly balanced which is what makes the game special. If you thing the new weapons are OP, then you are not good enough at the game to truly understand the meta.
Funny how many scrubs populate this site downvoting and hating anything and everything multiplayer. Like the fact that they cannot or will not put the effort in to be able to compete they would rather just bash, hate, and give themselves a false sense of superiority. Yeah, it does if the first game had one of the best mp experiences of the past two console generations and has hundreds of thousands of loyal supporters. The game is still going strong even now.
