Do we HAVE to use Origin to play on PC? I don't want shovelware apps clogging my PC :/
In any case, forcing Origin is only going to lose them like 50 sales lol.
GoW is nearly milked, but not quite. And MGS is remaining fresh and brilliant.
CoD is totally over-milked because it has just got worse since MW1. Worse guns, worse single player, worse 'feel', more bugs, worse maps, more overpriced DLC etc. W@W was decent though.
MW3 looks to be a bit of a refresher judging by some of the things the developers have been saying - but I won't hold my breath.
In any case, I still find CoD fun becaus...
I suppose if they move over to a different teat every so often then it isn't :P
/metaphor win
FF is an interesting one. They are almost all different games: unlike CoD, NFS, Tomb Raider & PoP which are mostly the same and often attempt to continue a story but do it badly.
Secondly, considering the number of games they remained fresh and exciting for a lot more titles than other milked franchises.
Today, they are being milked simply for the name that used to resemble good games - but I heard people saying the brand was milked even when FF8 was comi...
Fallout 3 and Oblivion/Morrowind were a lot less buggy than Dead Island is. I know Oblivion had a non-progression bug on the 360 version at one point which would have effected a lot of people though and Morrowind was a monster for crashing. New Vegas was in a league of it's own for bugs though! But Bug Island suffers from more than NV did, somehow. BFBC2 was also extremely buggy, and it still has some obvious bugs left in it that DICE havn't patched after all this time (I blame EA for...
Same thing happened to me. But, luckily I also happen to have Deus Ex to play!
Kojima is still making games with the same flavour that he made them in the past, and that is why they are still popular worldwide.
Square-Enix are being idiots and ruining their titles for no particular reason.
Lost Odyssey is a great JRPG but it is ruined by being owned by Microsoft when it should be multiplat (Unreal Engine) so it didn't sell as explosively as it would have if it was also on PS3.
Nintendo's first party titles are s...
Why is Guild Wars in the tags? It's published by a korean company but its a western game.
this ^
Also they are using screenshots... so why use fraps at all lol when there is PrintScr or an in-game screenshot button.
RO2 and AC Revelations. I havn't caught up on Zelda games since WW's cartoon style put me off, and Mario... probably good but nothing will beat the old school ones up to & including 64 :P My wii is reserved for "party games", can't really sit in the lounge for hours playing a proper game on it - I can't resist a flatmate's offer for a game of Brawl or Mario Kart.
hardly anybody would have played it
IRL it's not impossible to shoot through bricks/concrete, must be for balance reasons.
Gamers? Maybe some gamers but not all of us.
Yeah, and most of them are better than most iphone/android games.
And 95% of motion games are shovelware.
lol, indie devs don't need anything like that.
Ever heard of... a website!
Currently, steam is the only digital distribution platform that isn't crap.
Its not the discounts that need improved, it's the launch prices that should be a bit lower - and they would just be the same everywhere (£40, £50, £900 - whatever).
Browser>mobile>motion
browser gaming has been around the longest and has the most worthwhile games on it. Facebook 'games' only account for like 1%.
Yeah, DNF was just a generic unreal engine shooter with shoddy mechanics and a generally bad "feel".
It isn't really about making stuff. But that is one of the really fun parts (especially in multiplayer, people set up their own MMO servers for the game with loads of players making cities, towns and other fun stuff like giant memes/canals/sky fortresses).
Also, the 1.8 update makes a huge improvement to the combat. Allowing for a lot of PvP fun.
Obviously single player gets boring fairly fast.
