3 won't be on PS3 because the PS4 will be out by then :P
And I severely doubt 2 will be on the PS3 because CDPR don't have as much expertise in OpenGL (it's a DirectX game) and it would be a huge amount of work for the graphics API and balancing workload across the Cell (most of the game's processing is graphical though, but it's not deferred rendering like most console games so offsetting post processing won't make as much of a difference)

I don't understand why people think it's so hard (do they or was that just 1 review?)
There is a difficulty setting... (guess what, medium isn't easy - easy is)
The only problem I had was forgetting the controls and there's no way to see the key bindings in-game but that isn't an issue with a controller anyway (which it was designed with in-mind from the start of course like any good game these days).
Can't wait to pla...
More functional than the Japanese? That would be German, but Ninja Theory are British :P
I dunno, it will be a decent game but it won't be a proper DMC. Ninja Theory should make another Kung Fu Chaos and not butcher this series, though I guess as a 'mere' developer they have very little choice in the matter :(
It's funny because the idiots who wrote ACTA have no idea. It's impossible to detect what data is in an actual packet without impossibly complex algorithms (that would be a guess, at best). And it would still be easy to mask what data you are sending (encryption, duh). So it's impossble for them to even use it to reduce piracy in the first place.
And back on topic, there is a LOT of piracy in the handheld space. Though I don't know about 3DS and Vita (yet). Bu...
Yeah, like every character in the MGS series who dies :P
I'd vote for Vermin Supreme lol
"And the parents are warned about the ratings and whats instore in the game parents just nod theirs heas and shrug off the warning."
Believe it or not most kids are not stupid and don't go out killing people because they played GTA.
They are all idiots so it doesn't really matter.
You don't get it?
rofl
lol at even mentioning the fill rate. That is an irrelivant spec in modern graphics hardware and has been since ~2007.
There are plenty of complex, rewarding new games.
Yeah, sure, a lot of great series have become simplified - but there are new replacements to them appearing all the time (which will no doubt become simplified in the future and the cycle will continue).
It's up to the devs (actually, more likely the publishers/shareholders). If you don't like it - don't buy it.
Honestly, I would be happy enough paying a lot more for hardware. Think about how useful it is to you and how great it really is that we, as a species, are able to achieve so much - so we should at least appreciate the people working on the production lines. But the truth is, IT equipment production lines are some of the best jobs available in many areas. If these industries weren't going so strong (partially because of how cheap it is here), there would be a lot more struggling families ...
If it can't play used games but the initial retail price is much lower, then it could be good for consumers. Take Steam as an example.
Though when/if it is a physical product I find it quite scandalous that they are allowed to disallow resale - or even force things like online passes.
Debt is an integral part of large businesses, they put shareholders first - they will get their dividens anyway; probably totalling a much larger figure than $838 million.
A lot already did jump to PS3 and PC.
I will likely buy whichever console is the powerhouse and leave the other two for a year or so. With MS ditching their scam currency I could consider them but I won't be paying twice for my internet usage (aka XBL). And maybe they can stop marketing Kinect like mad if they have some games to talk about.
$838 million is not that much for a company like Nintendo. They are probably totally fine with that figure, and could see it coming.
Hesido you said what I have been saying for years but made it easy to understand :P
+bubs
Key point - tessellation can only be used properly when the game is only going to run on hardware with heavy tessellation. Which means MS have already gimped this gen IF they stick a ~6670 in the nextbox :/ or maybe they are going casual? I don't know. It's strange because last gen the consoles were good performers when they launched so the ~6670 rumour was proba...
The normal maps (and depth maps) will be tessellated back into polygons so in the end, if the camera is close enough to the character (i.e. face close-up) then they will easily have a million polygons if you took the density of the polygons on the screen and assumed that density across the whole model.
Of course, that's presuming Sony opt for something a lot beefier than a 6670 lol, otherwise tessellation is a no-go.
There's a horror genre?
