Some other awesome ones: FF7/10, Losy Odyssey, TW2, Halo 1/2/3, MGS 1/2/4.
And many more :P
You mean you wonder if EA think it is financially viable to fix it? (aka will people still buy future EA games? Yes becaues DICE will get the blame if it is never fixed)
There is loads of input lag, I also notice it on the 360 but it's nowhere near as bad.
I don't understand how there was no problem with it in the beta but now suddenly there is input lag :S
Slugs are OP but somehow I am the only person who noticed.
"pathetic tactical light and laser
bad hit detection (perhaps it is weapon nerfs i dont know? especially with LMGs) "
There is nothing pathetic about the laser (they exist IRL tbh) and the hit detection is incredible. It's client side - if you miss it is YOUR fault except when the hitboxes don't line up which is when characters flinch but you should be hitting the chest or he...
"the only reason why god of war had good graphics was because it had a rail shooter type camera so they could program what was in scene that game would have never been able to be made with a full controllable camera"
That is more to do with disk space and development time than rendering capabilities (aka "graphics")
I think it's supposed to be wii as in we and u as in you, the u part sounds a bit greedy though and goes against their whole branding of wii in the first place. So a renaming would be quite likely some time soon. I hear it can only have 1 of those screen controllers at once (I could be wrong, cant be bothered checking at the moment), I suppose that does make it a bit antisocial so u makes sense :P
If they follow their current waffly marketing-speak naming trend, what will...
Yeah the quote was talking about PS3 in relation to 360 obviously the site just took it out of context to flame.
"you're totally right, even thou the devs can cry all they want but it is very wrong to charge $60 for a game."
Er... they cost that much because Sony and MS need platform fees.
I would expect more than 2GB of RAM to be honest. That would be even worse than sticking 256+256 in a 2006 machine lol.
For a company like sony, the cost difference between 2GB and 4GB would likely be as low as $5 (ballpark figure) because the hardware is all specialised. (it depends what manufacturing/tech partners they have in business) Moving into a new generation the consoles should make themselves able to not limit the creativity of developers (think about what ND could ...
"Whether it could not be added to the PS3 through a Firmware update or the exact reason for neglecting this feature is yet to be known"
What is this BS?
CG chat would require some system resources, they can't implement it because some games expect those resources to be available. Simple.
Also get with the damn times, DVI/HDMI will be superseded by display port (which can output to multiple HDMI/DVI ports on different displays). ...
Nope. Packet Analyzers are exactly what I was talking about: "complex algorithms (that would be a guess, at best)"
They sit there scanning a recent history of packets (can't store them all or your connection would cost tens of thousands per month - so it's impossible for reliable evidence to be gathered too) and make a best guess as what might be going on, and its not like you are using just one protocol at a time so the incomming packets are a big scramble ...
Nice mouse. But I'll stick with my Deathadder for the time being :D
*wan*
Well I wouldn't have bought it if they were going to spring that one. What do the people who made it successful in the first place get in-game? I have been following Terraria since its original inception.
GTAV has been practically ready for a year now (shhh) so a Wii-U launch is slightly probable if that is why they are delaying it so much. Or it could be that they want more time to polish it and wait for a good gap in the game release calendar like R* usually do.
OnLive just runs the PC version with tweaks to support their service. So it's not really the same situation as this.
Article kind of misses the point but whatever.
There is nothing wrong with their (developers') games, where did I say that? But they force their developers into positions/decisions that they don't want, not as much as AV though of course.
Also they are taking the piss with Origin. Their QA department is utter trash. Their servers/network is junk.
None of those problems will be an issue with SSX but I can't support a company like that.
Author has no understanding of basic economics. (remember that MS points were essentially a currency where they could pick and choose exchange rates...)
Looks really good. Can't buy it though caus it's EA.
I really need a new PC so I can record while keeping decent fps >_<
