It's bad because you can't have Japanese voices even with 50GB of Blu-ray. Clearly they have the western market all wrong and think we all want to listen to the same voiceover acters who should have been fired after their first day of work but the same imbciles seem to do EVERY voiceover of Japanese products. Ragin, totally ruins the game.
Sometimes they get it right though, Lost Odyssey would have fit on just 2 DVDs if they didn't have the Japanese voice options,...

If exclusives go away... surely there should only be only console? I don't think Sony or Microsoft want that to be their competitor, so they will use their cash to get developers on their side.
Exclusives will never go away, what will happen (has happened) is the exclusives (most of them, not all) will be crap because MS/Sony throw the money to the wrong dev and have to stick with it and push out marketing materia...

Yeah but digital download may not be an option for a chunk of the market who's ISPs have bandwidth caps etc.
Blu-ray sized games would be quite a massive download. I'm not sure why the article said install times would be reduced, because the download time would be much longer than that.
However, if consoles move to downloaded games then ISPs may feel the pressure to stop messing with people. Fibre should be the standard anyway.

Anyway, farcry was by miles thier best work. Even on the xbox it was a masterpiece (caus ported from PC, that works - not the other way around).
The guns in crysis felt horrible, they improved that a little bit for 2. But everything else is far worse.
They probably had some staff changes mid production of crysis 1.
