That's why my name is brutally honest. Most people I know don't like that about me. ;)
Yeah my friends is the biggest reason I paid for XBL over the years. We don't play together much any more. Our preferences in genres has changed. I don't care if every person I know went X1. As long as those restrictions and fees exist I will never purchase one.
I'm just hoping the PS4 will allow used and rental games.

That chart pretty much does say it all.
Thx for posting that.
Tarmac of Dreams.
If you build it they will come!
My triples and wheel need to be fed. GT6 will be a perfect meal for them.
Depends on the weather. I camped out over night a few times. 2 times was a blast camping out at Best Buy with friends. People were throwing around frisbeees and footballs, blasting music, making food runs for the masses while holding their places in line.
The last couple times I went at it alone and it was freezing out. When I camped out for the PS3 it was both cold and raining. I had a tent but all it did was keep me dry. The minutes felt like hours. I swore never again. I...

My wife asked a similar question after my 3rd Xbox 360 repair. By the 5th repair she gave up hope. But I will tell you the same thing I told her. Because I'm a dumbass lemming. It's where my friends gamed so I broke out my wallet and kept paying. Although I usually picked up a renewal card for $30 when ever I could but a couple times it auto renewed when I couldn't find one.
My account expires in October. The day of the reveal I disabled aut...
Not "buying" these preorder claims. Not one source is listed. No site should be allowed to make up phony claims while not listing a single retailer or actual source.
Here in NA I check a few times a week looking for any company that will accept preorders and I always come up with 0 waiting on word when they will start accepting preorders. So far all they are offering is being placed on an announcement list for when they will start accepting preorders. I hope that ac...
I have a feeling their E3 presentation is going to be awkward as hell if they confirm these restrictions and used / rental fees do in fact exist. I can't see any other reaction other than dead silence or flat out booing. Either way that will be awkward.
I would think they would be best served (we the consumer wont be but they will) to just talk about games and let their PR department handle those questions. I wouldn't be surprised if MS doesn't go into specific de...
The used / rental fees the thing I want NOT implemented most. I could live with some of the other stuff but not that. I want my games to have value and for me to have the choice of how I obtain the game whether I purchase it new, used or rent.
I'm getting both.
Best of both worlds.
Besides I know for a fact I have a wheel for the PS3. I have to wait on information from Sony and wheel manufacturers before knowing whether or not any current wheels are compatible.
I can't play racing games without a good wheel. It's just not the same. But I'm confident Sony will be compatible with existing wheels. They usually leave their peripheral compatibility open ended and not proprietary.
Count you are kidding yourself if you believe diehard MS fans are not jumping ship or on the edge of doing so. I myself am a diehard hardcore gamer that has favored MS the past decade and as of right now I won't be picking up an X1. If you would just open your eyes you would see I'm not in the minority of MS fans that are on the edge of jumping ship or have already done so.

The even sadder thing is the consumers who made this industry what it is are being told to get in line or go F yourselves.
We can only hope Sony will stick to allowing the gamer to decide what to do with their property regardless of how we obtain it (new, used or rental).
@TomSawyer
You really shouldn't talk about others wearing tinfoil hats when you yourself posted (less than a year ago): "The PS3 will not pass the 360 this generation. Even if they start outselling MS by 100K a month it will take them almost 3 1/2 years just to catch up which we'll be well into the next gen by then"
^How is that working out for you?
Now on topic:
Adam made some great points but it's the message a...
We wouldn't even have to have these discussions about clouds possibilities if MS would've just built their architecture around gaming instead of being a multimedia device.
I think this whole cloud debate sounds more like smoke and mirrors than reality. From what I know about cloud it seems to set very unrealistic expectations.
All I do want from a gaming console is games. BUT I want them without unnecessary requirements, restrictions and fees that MS "appear" (have to assume since they wont give direct answers to these concerns) to be implementing just to play those games on their console.
^THIS is what MS seems to either not understand or simply just doesn't give a sh*t about because they want to drain us for every cent they can get from us. It doesn't matter how many games they ...
The dynamic cockpit camera was my favorite part of GRID. After watching this review I am going to rent it. No purchase from me since IGN complains about the amount of tracks. That is a deal breaker with me when it comes to spending my cash on any game, diversity & variety.
@negative
I get the handle, always be negative, but the removal of options for any reasons is dumbing a game down. That's never a good move. Yet that is all developers have been doing the pa...
This is Sony, not MS. They are listening and have proven over the years that they won't screw the consumer like MS by nickel and diming them for every cent and given games what they want most, games.

I agree.
Battlefield it is than.
I have said this time and time again over the span of this generation. It was never a matter of if but only a matter of when.
The 360's sales numbers have been greatly inflated because of RROD. Especially from early adopters and leading into the 2nd year. It took MS the last revision before the slim to create a really stable console.
I myself have purchased 10 360's this generation, 12 if you count gifts (2 I gave away for Christmas presents). I curre...
I am going to tweet, tweet ane retweet it several times a day and all day June 10th
It's not the messaging.
It's the message.
There is no way to sugar coat what gamers don't want when it comes to unnecessary restrictions and fees. Nor do most of those same gamers want to hear that you made architecture choices to make a more efficient multimedia device, that has nothing to do with gaming, instead of building the best gaming console you were capable of building.
It's the message.
