I grabbed a life preserver and jump the MS ship as well. I'm treading water looking out for a Sony cruise liner that I can signal to throw me a rope.
You love Forza 3?
Dang dude, didn't you play Forza 4? If not, you really missed out and should pick up a copy ASAP. T10 made pretty significant tweaks to the gameplay mechanics and graphics with that title over F3.
I still play it pretty consistently.
F5 does look great. F5 is the ONE game that makes it so hard for me to not just say the hell with the X1 restrictions. I just got to have this game. But I have to stand strong on my principles and just hope ...
I have no idea what CV3 was talking about. Can you clue me in ATB? What "ONES" is he referring? /s
*dops mic and walks off stage*
Is what I wish Jack Trentton would've done after he made the "NO restriction / NO DRM" announcement.
I 4th it.

I have yet to have any PS3 controller not hold a charge. Even my launch sixaxis controllers still work flawlessly. Also, I have never had any PS3 controller stop working. The durability of the PS3 controller was built to outlast the console longevity IMO. I own 4 PS3 controllers and never had a need or a reason to purchase more.
I did watch the interview. All it did was ensure me I am made the right decision by walking away from MS altogether. I wont ever have an XBOX ONE in my home unless they completely abandon their DRM policies altogether. Anything but wont do.
Mattrick and the rest of his crew has completely ruined the MS gaming division.
Just watch the Jack Tretton interview from today and compare these two guys. It's unbelievable how polar opposite they are when discussing...
Nobody said anything about the XBOX ONE being doomed. Only that MS made poor decisions regarding restrictions and DRM. They are not doomed and they will make money off of the X1 because MS spends a TON of money on marketing.
The thing people are saying is MS has a huge uphill battle because Sony came in at a lower price point ($399) and don't have any of the restrictions the X1 has and no DRM.
I myself won't support MS at all unless they completely do...
Epic
It's spelled t-r-o-l-l and not t-r-o-y. ;)
You are only kidding yourself. No one else with any sensibility would buy what you're shoveling. MS could have shown 100 block buster exclusives and Sony still far and away had the best conference because of NO DRM or any other lame restrictions.
It's really hard to even take you a little bit serious when you say Dead Rising 3 looked amazing. Dead Rising 3 looks like FUN but not something you...

I'm not going to lie. I was one of those people. I had an XBOX ONE in my cart at Amazon because I love me some Forza. My wife was like go ahead, you bought consoles in the past for one game. I said, "no, let's see if Sony implements any of these restrictions and their policies are concerning DRM. If they have them then maybe I will say the heck with it and get both or even possibly get neither."
As soon as Jack Trentton made the anno...
The more people learn about the restrictions MS is implementing with the XBOX ONE, the wider the lead will grow. All the marketing in the world can't spin what they are trying to pull on consumers. MS has only one real option, drop the restrictions and do away with DRM any way they can.
NeverEnding
It's THIS simple.
All most of us N4G members have been saying the past couple weeks is Sony comes out and says no restrictions of any kind, will support used games and rentals, is released at a similar or lesser price point? Jack Tretton could walk out on to that stage, said what is listed above, drop the mic and end their E3 presentation. GAME OVER!
Not only did they do all above^ but they had a ton of content for the Vita, PS3 (IP's stil...
Put me down for 2 of those PS4 sales.
Pre-ordered 2 from Amazon immediately after Sony's E3 conference.
Actually maniacmayhem PS+ is NOTHING like XBL.
Sony actually takes care of their paid subscribers with games, avatars, backgrounds, discounts on a ton of content in the PS store, early access to betas, etc and so on.
If you're a PS+ subscriber, which I have been since day one and will continue to be one, when the PS4 launches, you get Drive Club for free. I have downloaded more games from PS+ than I have purchased for the PS3. It's an amazing deal. If you purc...
We all knew since May 21st that the PS4 is the most advanced console for the next generation of gaming. No DRM, no restrictions and a $100 dollars cheaper just added some whipped cream and chocolate sauce on an already delicious pie.
YUMMY!
When I saw Ryse I thought, nice looking game, a little choppy with the animations and when the camera pans, 1 hit with sword or shield leads instantly to QTE = rental. But than I reminded myself that there is no renting on the XBOX ONE. See MS this is why you should reconsider your position on DRM immediately.
They should've stuck to this remaining a Kinect game. Either way this game needs a ton more depth in play mechanics or it will sit and collect dust on store shelves...
That was before he knew MS came in at $499 for the XBOX ONE. When Pachter was interviewed after the MS E3 event, he said if Sony can come in at $399 and not have restrictions that it would be game over for MS.
I'm not a Pachter fan or anything. Quite the opposite actually. In that I think he is a pompous ***hole. But it's not exactly rocket science to say Sony has a HUGE advantage going into next gen. The only chance MS has of even being competitive is to 86 DRM and p...
I email and texted this to everyone I know that has any interest at all in gaming. That was really clever.
+funny
I said it before E3 announcements and I will say it now for effect.
MS could straight out have purchased EA, Activision and Ubisoft. If Sony comes out with no restrictions, be able to play used games & rentals, launching at or before the same time as the X1 and a cheaper price point? It's game over for MS. Sony would steam roll them worldwide and most likely run neck & neck in the North America or flat out roll past them in that region as well.
MS...
Pre-ordered 2 PS4's tonight.
I'm set for next gen.
Plus my Samsung LED display has a motion camera built into it. So why would I need XBOX ONE other than for gaming?
MS is way late to the party with this type of all in one device. All of the things MS is implementing with the XBOX ONE is already being done by smartphones, tablets, laptops, smart TV's and broadcast receivers (Comcast, DirecTV, Dish ,etc).
They should've focused on a traditional gaming console 1st and everything else secondary. They cam...
