I am a diehard racing freak. It's my favorite genre.
Honestly though, like my name sake, I am less then confident it will hit 2010 since neither Sony nor PD has said a word on it yet. Their silence is deafening. Every time I see GT5 in a title on N4G I am hoping a release date is next to the name...
I look forward to pics of Kinect in your home when it's released. It will then be put up or shut up time. Every person that praises Kinect once it's on the market, I want to see pics. I think most that are defending this trash have no real interest in it.
The 360 is geared towards the hardcore and Kinect is anything but. MS said so themselves. It's nothing but a pipe dream for the people that think it will support anything but extremely casual games with precann...
Well I'm not going to speak for every Wii owner but mine has been collecting dust since December 09. My kids don't touch it and I am not the least bit interested in it. It isn't even hooked up to a display any more. I was considering trading it in or ebaying it.
It will be interesting to see how Kinect plays out but I don't think many Wii owners will flock to it. It's more expensive than the Wii and it will take a couple years to build up a decent librar...

The sad part is MS considers games like Black Ops to be exclusive because of their DLC deal with Activision. They try to pedal off multiplatform titles as exclusives. Yet these multiplatform titles pull in fantastic numbers on the PS3 and Sony doesn't pay through the nose for those exclusive deals and huge advertising budgets. In actuality Sony probably pulls in more revenue for tho...

It's just here on N4G and various other gaming sites like it, that tend to care more about reviews, sales and pixel counters.
I played both versions. I can't see any discernible differences between the two and they play identical. That is what you would think should matter most, gameplay.

You don't deserve to wear it since you forgot MLB The Show 11. Why when there is a list made showing PS3 exclusives MLB The Show is left off 9 out of 10 times? MLB the show is not only an amazing baseball games but it's one of the best sports games to be released year after year.
But you are forgetting about the non PS3 owners that will purchase the console just for GT5. Personally I don't know a PS3 consumer that doesn't want GT5. Then again I mostly know adult gamers that own ALL consoles and not immature flag waving fanboys/trolls that make comments like "they started it"
I bring people back to life all the time in Battlefield playing a medic. Which is the same way you can be brought back to life in reality. ;)
EA should've made a commitment to UFC when Dana White originally approached them to make a game. Instead of EA's whole stance that MMA fighting isn't a sport. Funny how quickly their tune changed now that UFC is growing so rapidly in popularity.

I couldn't agree more. I don't see the need when this game will have nearly every type of racing I enjoy on 1 disc. I just wish a stone cold release date would be announced already. I check every day waiting hoping it will come straight from PD or Sony themselves instead of rumors. I hope it's this year. If not I will make due but I hope that's not the case.

When are people going to understand this? Do you think Sony ships their products to retail on assignment where they don't get paid until a customer walks out of the store with product in hand? No. Once that product hits a store shelf or a distributor it is sold by Sony, MS, Nintendo, etc.
This is why articles discussing sales are so pointless. It appears most people only look at the final number and don't factor in the real number...
