I watched the whole thing and it confirmed what I thought all along. Kinect in it's current form is not worth the money. There are too many restrictions and it doesn't track like it should. Maybe it needs a few updates or maybe it will never work the way I would need it to for me to warrant a purchase.
I am getting Black Ops for both. I have a few friends that recently purchased 3D displays (I am hoping to join them soon in 3D) and they are sticking to most multiplatform games for the PS3 now. Nobody doubted Kinect would sell. How could it miss with 500 million dollar advertising budget? I also don't recall too many people commenting on reviews other than would they be skewed in Kinects favor because of that huge advertising budget. That and the lame embargo MS put into place.
The biggest complaint I hear about Kinect from most gamers, not just haters, is it doesn't support the 360's core audience and the novelty of the libarary would wear off rapidly...

I am a 360 gamer. I was interested in Natal at E3 09 but lost all hope when Kinect was shown at E3 2010. I would honestly pick one up if it had a much cheaper MSRP (79.99) and the games were $29.99 instead of 49.99. Just for the novelty of it. At least, unlike most, I am honest about...
I wish I could disagree with you being a 360 fan and all but I can't. This really is sad. This is the reality of Kinect but nothing like I was expecting Natal to be.

Some of the game reviews seem positive but a lot of them are using words as to why I am not interested as of yet. Casual, novelty, kids, family oriented, core 360 owners probably wont be interested in this device, etc.
The only game I think looks neat is Dance Central. Even though it's precanned moves I think it would be more fun to play than boring fitness games.
You can only imagine the videos being posted in the very near future of girls dancing to it in bikinis or their underwear. Gotta compete with the hulu hoop girls on Wii.
