This "so damn dense as to not sense the immense sarcasm I'm hemorrhaging here" had me bust off laughing so hard my head started to hurt.
Good stuff Scentless.
I wish I could give you 100+ bubble for funny!
I have tried a ton of gaming headsets.
My favorite and most versatile is the Astro A40 w/5.8 mix amp. Best for gaming headset for overall sound quality with a mic is the newer Beyerdynamic MMX 300. If I want to use a nice pair of phones to game but I don't need a mic, I just plus in my Denon 5000 or Sennheiser HD650's to my 5.8 mix amp.
Actually I run most of my phones through the mixamp for gaming. I am thinking about picking up the beyerdynamic mixer but try...
The wires are cute but that's not how you position a sound system. I have seen setups that makes this look meh at best. Just visit a couple ht forums and go to their gaming sections. Hell I like a couple of my setups a lot more than this. One this is for sure, I have a lot better hardware.
Talking in the 3rd is weird even for you.
BTW you were finally right on something. The Astro A40 is pretty freaking kickass for the money. Still going to pick up the Beyerdynamic MMX 300. To me electronics is like Pokemon, gotta havem all.
On topic Agent M was a really cool guy.
units, why do I get the feeling uNAG, you (units) and loner are all one in the same?
uNAG, the last thing Gears of War 3 needs is hype. It's their big exclusive title for 2011 from MS which means they are going to spend a boat load of money advertising it like they do all their big market titles.
I just hope the final build runs as good as the beta.
You have been gaming all that long, have you?
Gaming isn't just about graphics, sound, online, complexity, and so on. Gaming for most old school gamers, and even younger gamers I know, is entertainment / fun / escapism.
Some of my favorite moments growing up in gaming were some of the most simplistic games ever made. Break out, Warlords, Asteroids, Bezerk, Zaxxon, Centipede, Donkey Kong and so on. Most of the games years before NES or SNES existed.
But the problem here is who are really complaining about this whole scenario? I personally know hundreds of PS3 consumers and a fair amount of them are PS+ subscribers.
The only thing I got from any of them during this outage was anger towards the hackers and hoping Sony could get PSN back up as fast but secure as possible. Not one of the people I know freaked and went ballistic, called their banks and cancelled their cards, blamed Sony for any of this in any way, nor do they...
If only you could take the trolls last bubble.
trolling
I agree when it comes to fighting games. I have more people quit on me during fighting games than those that finish the match. I barely play fighting games online any more unless it's against close friends.
In shooters, people that camp, I mean when it's basically the entire team and not just a couple guys, the whole map long makes me want to bail sometimes if I am being honest. I hate it when time runs out because everyone is camping and no one wants to move. That sh...
I'm not angry with Capcom in the slightest. I bought most of the costume packs. I just don't think what they're offering warrants the price tag to me personally. Will I end up buying it? Knowing me, more than likely I will break down and get it.
But you brought up a great point about their diverse online and I really love the replays you can view from players around the world. I haven't played SSFIV in a few months, just been too busy with so many other games,...
I'm a racing freak so this is an absolute must buy for me!
SSFIV was 33% discounted from SFIV, not 50% - 1/2 price. I never said MK was better, more popular, more played, or anything of the kind. I am merely pointing towards MK because it offers so much right out of the gate including tag team, a true story mode and I believe more backgrounds than SSFIV.
I really want more backgrounds more so than characters. Can you imagine if shooter franchises only added a couple new levels for a sequel and then updated their game with new weapon...
Is this a joke?
Updates and patches never stopped being available while PSN was down. A buddy of mine told me about this update weeks ago. He has Shift 2 for the PS3 and I bought it for the 360. So I jumped online and installed mine after he told me it was up.
Is technical gamer and oxymoron?
I'm an SSFIV freak. Love the game but I am not paying $14.99 for 4 characters. SSFIV needs new backgrounds as much as it needs additional characters and tweaks to the play mechanics. I am a Evil Ryu fan but there are quite a few other characters I would have preferred from the SF universe besides him.
Capcom this is milking to the extreme.
You helped breath life back into the fighting genre with SFIV but now that MK is back to it's original form, you need to r...
I'm already satisfied now that it's back up and running smoothly.
I'm doing the same thing I was doing before it went down and while it was down, playing games! It never stopped working, only the online portion was on halt. I don't do a whole lot of online gaming so it never mattered to me even though I am a paid subscriber to PS+ and XBL.
GamerTM added to list of sites to ignore and not give any further hits to. MK is one of the best fighting games I have played this generation.
Hug it out like men, high around the torso hug. Now that would be golden. Leave the low, around the nut sack hug too.... well you know. ;)
HHG as long as it's the same engine it will run like ass online, period. I have grown tired of seeing the enemy, or at least thinking I am seeing him, unload a clip into him and only to get killed, then watch the kill cam and realize he had the drop on me when here I thought he had his back turned to me. The COD engine is GARBAGE and the netcode is HORRIBLE.
As far as the single player campaign? Please, it's worst then their online component.
