I have no doubts it will be a better wheel than the GT2 as it should be. It's a totally different beast altogether. Fanatec is taking on the Thrustmaster T500 and trying to rival in some ways, the FREX wheel with their new CSR Elite model.
I cant wait to get one. The GT2 will hold me over until then on the 360 and the T500 on the PS3. Only time will tell where this new CSR Elite model rates in the grand scheme of things. You know I'm ordering one the minute the preord...

I will be rocking Forza 4 with a Fanatec GT2 until the CSR Elite is released and not some stupid camera. This video only proves how useless this device (Kinect) actually is for mainstream gaming.

Maybe the CRS will cost below Fanatecs belt driven wheel like the Carrera but the CRS Elite will probably cost between $500 to 700 dollars.
I own 3 Fanatec wheels already and can tell this author of this article he is way off base with what these wheels will cost. He is trying to compare them with MS wireless wheel and what they retailed for. Fanatec wheels by themselves (no pedals) usually cost $250 alone.
These wheels are custom for one game which means they will be even more expensive. They will probably run between $500 to $700 dollars for the complete packages.

Well you must not be using a wheel because people are complaining on all racing sites and forums about the floaty controls in Shift 2. insidesimracing.tv talked about them in their review as well. On the PC there is a mod that addresses the controls but on the consoles the game handles like crapola on wheels.
Sony won all of E3 (conference, games and new hardware) and they did it without showing fake games and not tech demos. Sony had it all this year and cross platform gaming is going to be sweet. Plus the Vita looks to be the most amazing handheld released to date.

Can someone, anyone, name a Call of Duty game that was delayed on the consoles since Kotick to the reigns of Activision? So who dictates what again? Exactly. This series usually has a release date 6+ months before it hits the market and I cant recall it ever being delayed. Yet it always has a fair amount of issues that need addressing out of the gate.

TBM I have to agree with you although I do enjoy the racing aspect of Forza the campaign mode of the series literally puts me to sleep. That and it's limited wheel support and engine built because of that limited support (270 degrees of rotation Forza vs 900 degrees of rotation GT).
It's a great game in it's own right but it is not on the level of the GT series as far as car handling goes which is the single most important aspect of a good sim game.
