the story looks promising. i can imagine several possible scenarios evolving from that premise.
btw, i'm an optimist, so i'm guessing q1 or q2 for Japan, and q2 or q3 (most likely september or october) for US. though a spring US/Japan release would make me very very happy

but anyways, i've pretty much given up on this site. its good for the news, but a lot of the people here are prats. i'd love to make a poll seeing which console is supported the most, cause if anyone makes an anti-360 comment, they're down to 1 bubble in no time..

it'll come out (optimistically) holiday 07. but realstically, its out spring 08. its been said by square that most of the graphics shown for ffxiii are real time renders taken from white engine... if any company can make a game look this good, its square.
common belief is that the only cg part of the trailer shown at e3 was where Lightning jumped onto the top of the train. everything else (including that amazing jungle/forest sequence) was real time in game.

no, i'm saying that 196 voters is not a true of what all ps3 owners feel. if you did a real poll of every ps3 owner, i will bet that ffxiii will be at the bottom of the list, because fanboyism rolls that way.
i brought up the xbox because i was referring to the poll where it said 57% of people who bought 360s had a failed unit... clearly not representative of the real population

wow... those screens are amazing. colors are bright and vibrant, graphics are sharp. the hair on his ears are just amazing. hard to believe this is only a prebuild and not final. (though shadows must be implemented)
can't wait to see what the final thing looks like, that and resistance 2 :-p

i'm really starting to lose my respect for ubisoft. they get extra time to tune up games and they some how manage to churn out an inferior product...
if you look at the character models, mgs4 and crysis (in my eyes) are close if not tied. Where crysis really shines is in the environment IMO
plus that trailer came out nearly two years ago. we haven't had a glimpse of anything relatively "new" in a while of mgs4.
Drakes environments are better than that of mgs4's, but still not up to par with crysis
runs louder when i run f@h... but its just fan noise, so i'm not worried about it
i have no idea what any of that stuff means, but i know its impressive to generate that only using SPEs

i have to disagree with this article. It won't put it further ahead, but it'll help it maintain its lead. lord knows that bungie could make teletubbies 4 and put halo 3 on it and it'll sell like hotcakes. hopefully it'll live up to its expectations.
and about the proportion of people who own the system buying a game, no offense to the original xbox, but when there is essentially only 1 stand out game, people better buy it..
