i completely agree. a BF style game with rainbow six mechanics would be crazy
actually, sales of ps2 didn't pick up until the release of DMC, MGS2, and FFX all within a 3 month period... which happened one year after launch.
well, snes was the best system ever made... so i'm not complaining :D even though the article says GBA, its a good system as well

the reason for two disks is: HD audio + visuals take up a crap load of space. not enough on a 50gb disk? probable

this one looks a lot better. theres a noticeable difference this time around. the texture on the armor, environment, and gun look much better
looking good.. though i'm not too hot on the devil hand feature though
its only beta, but i thought the alpha build looked better than that.. but w/e
but it still seems you run slow as sh!t and jump uber high :-( i hope they'll fix this when it comes out
it doesn't need CG... cinematics can be done with the in game engine too
the mgs2 and 3 openings were amazing as well. the mgs2 intro vid if you just leave it on the start screen is one of my favorite movies of all time

i can't believe i forgot the FFVII tech trailer!!! the FFXIII trailer should be there too, just because the graphics are in game, and people have a hard time telling which is CG and which is in game... lets add:

it was technically false advertisement because you never got to fight that huge thing in the game..
i've played the game, just not all the way through it.
i remember reading somewhere that you didn't get to fight it, which is why i wrote it

are that there some "new" features that m$ claims are there, but if you've been keeping up with other OSs such as linux or 10.4, pretty much everything in vista has already been done. to many, vista is an odd mashing of OS X and linux that has a unique look to it.
however, i have no doubt that vista will eventually become standard, just because when people buy new computers (every 2 to 3 years), they'll hopefully buy computers with decent specs and will be able to ru...
i read most of what everyone else wrote, and i came to the same conclusion. "give it time, give it time." you say that for vista, but flame when we say it for ps3. hypocritical if you ask me.
as for vista, i didn't like using it. i used it on a decently equipped computer, and the bells and whistles didn't appeal to me much. i'll wait for jaguar to come out before buying my macbook :-p
i like tim Moss.. i've watched so many of his interviews over the years. its nice to see inter-company relationships so they get more out of the systems
then that makes it the 4 years that was said to be needed to remake ffvii at the quality of the tech trailer...
or, we can be optimistic and believe that 1up has suddenly become a european company, and is using their date format... cause europeans use dd/mm/yyyy :D
