haha. simpson's "you've won a boat" ep anyone?
what are you talking about? they put the two major pillars of psx on the list in ffvii and mgs, they put arguably the best 2 games on ps2 on the list with god of war and SotC (including ICO was a plus too), they put the 3 best games to show up on snes in ffiii, link to the past, and super metroid, they put the pillar of xbox in halo, and the rest are either very good niche games, arcade classics or pc all time greats.
everyone has a different opinion of what should be in a top...
yeah mk, i was wondering "who's tim" too.. haha
he didn't really review anything worthwhile...
it'll come in january around the same time as the release of resident evil.
honestly, i don't give a rat's butt about picture in picture.. who wants that while watching the movie. even if you are using it for the commentary, its still annoying to see two people sitting there talking. commentary is much better when its just that. people talking; no need to see them doing it
seriously. screw ign for not putting number 1 with it... pretty much guaranteed to be the original mario (unless it was previously on it and i missed it)
but seriously, GREAT 10-2.
FFIII, Super Metroid, Link to the Past, each one has a special place because they were SO GOOD.
I didn't expect them to put Civ 2 at #3. but thinking back, it was a great game.
omg, i absolutely LOVE that 10.5 v.2 theme. absolutely amazing. i'll dl that when i go home. brings the comfort of my laptop to my ps3. woot
haha. was just going to type that too
i still remember playing the first tomb raider on my P2 233mhz... haha. at least crystal interactive has a bar to aim for now, because uncharted is now the standard for action adventure games
thats actually a good 20-11 list. i'm actually somewhat excited to see what they put into their top ten.
haha. i liked the part where it was like, "little is known about this game except that growing flowers is a part of it" or something like that.
i enjoyed flow and played that on my computer. hopefully this one will provide just an aesthetic experience.
btw, what happened to that project, cloud that was made by the same guy?
surely you've heard of resistance? oh yeah.. thats right. you don't listen to rational people talk.
and yeah, uncharted has a bunch of replay value. you've clearly never played the game.
double. my bad
without a doubt, my favorite costume is the doughnut boy you get for 1000 points i believe. i saw it on the official ps3 boards. i still need to wait 2 weeks to finish it :-(
even with a dl speed of 50mb/s, which rounds to about a 6 MB/s true download speed, it'll take around 2 hours to dl a 50gb HD movie.
i know there are vast improvements to the fiber optic networks around the world, but as of now, we have neither the storage capacity nor the bandwidth to realize the dream that is digital distribution.
there are terabyte drives out there, but thats only what, 20 HD movies? videophiles could not enjoy the range of movies they would ...
i just bought planet earth for my parents for christmas. i can't wait to watch it on my 60" 1080p tv. woot.
i must disagree. digital distribution is pretty much a pipe dream for the next decade or so. until internet 2.0 comes, downloading HD content will simply take too long.
plus, as someone below mentioned, not everyone is comfortable with using their credit card online.
plus, wasn't it mentioned in another thread that in order to fully achieve digital distribution, you'll need vast amounts of dedicated servers plus a heck of a lot of bandwidth for that server. (i...
i complained about how EA has been putting out garbage on ALL systems for several years now. (in fact, i think their last truly great game was SSX3)
but anyways, ps3 sales will have a bigger chance of hitting their target if EA put out better products. there's no denying that.
Lunar SSSC is the only game i've ever ebayed. its that good.
SPU's aren't technically true cores as much as they are "number crunchers" or in this case "magic boxes" :-p
thought they have many characteristics of being a core, they aren't. think about them like a virus as opposed to a bacterial. a virus is missing several characteristics that would qualify it to be "alive"
this could be good news or bad news for GS
because all this publicity is bound to lead to more hits for the website, but at the same time, once people realize how sh!te the website is, they won't go there again, which will lead to advertisers not spending their money there
anyways, i don't care for Aaron either
