i honestly don't see NG2 being that much of a hit. i agree that its graphics are simply stunning, but its just that, a prettier version of the previous games, i can't see it being one of the best games. now, if there's some stunning gameplay features that make its way into the game, i'll gladly eat my words, but as of now, its just a really really pretty version of ninja gaiden.
to be considered best, i would think the game would have to either completely refine previous game...
i have a lot of respect for NCsoft cause they don't charge for some of their MMO's. i'm a particularly large fan of guild wars, and this game is looking very much like it. (and i seriously mean, looking).
and to the comment that GW isn't a traditional mmorpg, i agree with that. but GW2 is supposed to be persistent world and free as well

i couldn't help but laugh at your post boink. don't take it personally, but its very uninformed. while broadband is quickly becoming the standard in NA, it is incredibly SLOW broadband. the advertised speed that everyone is subscribing to is 768kb/s, which translates to around a 100KB/s download speed. have fun downloading a 50GB hd movie, or even a 8GB sd movie with a speed like that...
i'm blessed enough to have a 10MB/s download speed at my university (80mb/s), and a 5MB...
i need to disagree with the "this is not a game worth buying the system for." Uncharted is currently the best example of a true next gen experience. it completely engrosses you into the game, it has lifelike animations, it has completely believable characters, and is basically the most polished game i've played in the last decade.

i'm not entirely sure how wii friend codes work (you have a unique number, you swap number with people to enter them into friend list?) but it does suck that you can't add people you play with randomly. hopefully they'll add this feature in, because there's nothing like playing someone random online, finding out you two make a great team, then never seeing that person again.

well, everything that blizzard touches is gold. so i'm not complaining. even though they're mainly into the RTS and mmo genres
funny boink. sd movies 1gb, and hd moveis 8gb? thats good for a laugh too. those movies ripped from dvds, compressed, and have a resolution smaller than a normal sd movie maybe.. we're talking about the original digital copy.
