I think gamers overemphasise the value of online, but Nintendo could offer more to strike a balance. Really, the last thing I want is for Mario Kart 8 to have a bunch of faceless morons hurling racist and homophobic abuse at everyone. It's so commonplace and boring.

Why would that be the case when it's been known and officially stated that next-gen was being developed first, and then they decided to look at ps360 somewhere down the road.
It was being developed on PC, WiiU, Bone and PS4 first, and PS360 only had dev start on them many months later.
