By Cristmas this year when Smash, MK8, Xenoblade 2, Shin Megami, Bayonetta 2 and Hyrule Warriors are out - Wii U will have more GOTY games than years it's been on the market.
How any gamer could resist buying a Wii U now I don't know... they would have to be under heavy sedation!

Wii U games library collectively already makes the Wii U a killer console for gamers, slightly less so for the more casual gamer.
But I think Mario Kart 8, along with the free AAA game download, makes it a killer Wii U gateway game.

It doesn't matter if the Wii U logo is on there as a single asset or as part of a sprite - it's still up there! The sprite file size would still be smaller without the Wii U logo.
If they had absolutely no intention of making a Wii U version then they absolutely would have no reason to put the Wii U logo on there.
Pretty obvious really.
And what'd ya know - Wii U website assests for the game exist. When will people learn?
BLOPS2 and Ghosts Wii U were both announced well after the other versions - probably some kind of Nintendo policy or contractual red-tape with MS and Sony.
