Click bait title is click bait. Here's an alternative title for the author :
Gamers Don't Like Great Games Anymore... They Only Want Rubbish Games With Gwaffffixxx Like Killzone SF And Games Where You Spend 99% Of Your Time Watching Cutscenes. Softcore Androgynous Whimpy Gamers Request Games That Require No Gaming Skill Or Talent. Gaming Is Dead.
Is that too long for a title?
Honestly, these people regretting their PS4 and Xbone purch...
Welcome to the day and age where any spotty herbert who can register a domain and wordpress account can call themselves a 'games journalist'.
Factual stories aren't the only things the modern-day games 'journo' can go without; but an above grade school level of English and grammar skill is also optional.
Make sure your wireless router isn't too close to the Wii U, i.e. right next/or on top of it. Make sure your router doesn't have 5Ghz mode enabled. Think if there may be any other wireless interference from other sources.
NSMBU, NSLU, Monster Hunter, Lego City Undercover, Zombi U, Rayman, Nintendo Land, Mario & Sonic Winter Olympics, Sonic Lost World... I could go on, and on, and on, and then triple the list with eShop and VC games.
Your view on Wii U games library is shockingly stale.
This is one of most random stories I've ever seen posted. Just have a read for yourself and try and get your heads around it. Some unknown, unrelated graphic designer and illustrator - i.e. a completely random person - comments that Wii U graphics are alright, and Nintendo just needs to make more games.
Unless I'm tripping, that's what this story is. Amazing!!!!
SONY 79% CHANCE OF BANKRUPTCY IN 2 YEARS SOURCE:
http://gaminrealm.com/2013/...
It just goes to prove my original point when people here need to ask for a source... Fanbois...
Sony - 79% chance of going bankrupt in 2 years.
Nintendo - 22% chance of going bankrupt in 2 years.
Perhaps you chose to turn a blind eye to that report a few weeks back... If were a Sony fanboi, I probably would, too!
People love to post stories about this, but with huge amounts of conjecture - of course all the stories on this subject like to intimate on the side of doom, because it is Nintendo we're talking about after all.
Absolutely no one except select people in Sony and Nintendo knows, or can pretend to understand what this deal entails for either company.
Seeing as it wasn't even mentioned at the recent investor meeting as of 2 days ago, we can assume it mea...
You wish.
Nintendo have said they won't be dropping the price, so grab a bargain when and where you can, while you can.
Nintendo will only have a finite amount of refurbs in stock - once they're gone, they're gone... best thing about these is there will probably be no difference between these and a brand new unit.
Sorry Omar ;-P
"Maintaining *It Is* Core Business"?
Writer implies Nintendo didn't acknowledge people confused the GamePad for a Wii add on, when they actually did!
They already stated there will be a new future handheld and separate home console, so no. They also stated there maybe more separate devices focoused on health and education.
Last time they took a pay cut the 3DS went into orbit. I can't help think thinking everyone else on the board is saying to themselves "hang on, why do we have to take a pay cut? It's all your fault, Iwata, not ours!!!". :-P
Of course, it's places like NeoGAF who try and make out it's all one man's fault... they don't actually know it is... as for most things that come out of that place.
DK always was the type of game you'd buy if you already had a Wii U. Or perhaps you've been hibernating the last 6 months since we all found out Retro was working on DK? I don't know, but this is an odd 'story' nonetheless.
You may be familiar with the term 'Evergreen Titles'? Titles that sell well over long time frames. Games like NSMBU, NSLU, DK, MK, etc, etc, are all evergreen titles. Getting them out the earlier the better because more sales. ...
Wii U gamers are happy gamers ;)
"ummmm, how can we get more clicks??? .... ... EUREKA!! let's only mention Nintendo, hence turning this into YET ANOTHER Nintendoomed article ... and then briefly mention something about how it might effect Sony and MS in the small print... RUN THE STORY!!!"
Please people, DON'T click on the link for this story. Don't waist your time.
Well said. Gutter gaming press have played a massive role in Wii U's online image. Meanwhile, the PS4 has been given a free ride while people haven't turned them on in weeks to play terrible games like Knack and Kill Zone; to put in blu-rays only for the PS4 not to play them, and have the rubber on the DS4 thumbsticks to peel off.
But that's OK, because it's Sony, not Nintendo, and PS4 has dwa bwwwest gwaffixx... which means they get a free (press) pass.
Ahh, I didn't realise he was an unhinged troll... I genuinely thought he wanted help... obviously not! I'll have to update my Weird Trolls Most Wanted database.
