Wow, look at that water. The Uncharted series is hands down, the best franchise on the PS3.
N4G is obviously filled with fanboys, particularly PS3 fanboys. When a PS3 exclusive is rated low they would bitch and whine and question the reviewer's competence. When it's rated high, they wonder why it's not higher.
You mean like how this gen sucks because the 360 and PS3 graphics can barely match 2006-2008 era PC games?
It doesn't matter anyways, the console as we know it is an extinct creature. You just don't know it yet. Considering the pace at which smart TVs are advancing, your next console might be your TV which might have the processing capabilities of the current gen of computers.
Umm, why buy a console then wait 5 years in for games to look as good as possible? What a waste of time. The nextgen of consoles need to reach their capability in year 1 or else they have already failed.
Hell, by 5 years in, that console will be fossil just like the current gen is now.

Uncharted is at it's best when you're progressing through the level fighting mercs or some ancient evil like zombies or something. It's at it's worst when you're trapped in a room fighting some uber boss with a crap load of HPs.
There's no adventure in that.
So I only have one week with BF 3 before Uncharted 3 start knocking on my door? Shit. To make matters worst I only have a two weeks with Uncharted 3 before Skyrim drops.

This is the last console game I'm buying for this gen. It's a tough choice but I have to draw the line somewhere.
Who gives a shit about BF 1942 for the console? This isn't a RPG, you don't need to play the first game to know whats going on. Allow me to fill you in...you shoot some random people in the face in that game. The end.

I don't give a damn about the reviews. In a few hours I'm going to find out if the game live up to the hype or not.
Umm. Yeah because patches always fix bugs right? Oh wait. It's the real world, and they don't. This is a launch day patch, and launch day patches just get the game work, thats all. Having seen the beta there's no telling what pesky bugs are still unpatched.
Not good. It means that a lot of bugs will probably be in the game.

True. It's as if the comparison is being done by total noobs. If you're going to compare, then compare real gameplay footage.
I still haven't finished this game. There's just way too much content. But after after a while my character becomes a wasteland god and the content becomes kinda meaningless.
