Nextgen or bust. BF3, Killzone 3, and now Uncharted 3 really shows that the rather low ceiling of this gen is getting bumped.

STFU up Carmack. You're a has been, a relic. It takes a special kind of fail to spend 5 years developing an OpenGL game only to ship it with the worst texture resolution in decades. Seriously there are low res textures and terrible lighting in Rage that I haven't seen since the late 90s.

Zaeed isn't Catwomen. You can play the entire game without Zaeed and wouldn't even notice the difference.

Thats fine. There's a ton of games to play this year, and when I do buy this game it will be from Steam for $10 in about 3 months after release. Take your online pass and shove it.
This "game" is over rated as hell. It must take rabid Sony fanboy to cling on to the thought that this collection of random button presses is anything but steaming garbage.
It's not the mechanics, the worst offender in this crap fest is the plot. It makes no god damn sense. For a story driven game like this to have such multiple glaring plot holes is inexcusable.
This kind of combo pack is exactly how I managed to amass such a massive amount of games for peanuts.

Why such a disparity in games owned? The vast majority of games were brought from Steam sales where they're 75% off. Once I get used to paying $5 for the likes of Bad Company 2 and Batman GOTY edition, paying retail price for PS3 games make me wanna throw up.

The problem is the game still suffer horrible low resolution textures and terrible lighting when the game does work. Technical issues with getting the game to work aside, the Tech 5 engine have some serious flaws.
New Xbox, PS4. Doesn't matter. I will buy the first one that comes out. The current gen's limitations is starting to get old fast.
Texture quality is more defined on the PC but there's hardly a difference in those screens. It doesn't matter anyways since they both suffer from horrible low res textures when viewed up close and pathetic lighting.

No. The mechanics sucks and monsters die like rubbery dolls.
This game cost less than $15 on the PC. Just something to think about when you're paying full retail.

Exactly. I'm getting this one for the PC, Vegas was lesson learned. Full me twice already with Fallout 3 and Fallout Vegas.
These guys can not do do games on the PS3 period.
