KD in BF3 is completely meaningless. You can be a 4.0 beast and still suck horribly at the game. There are games where I lead the server with with a 4000 points match despite killing a grand total of 5 players.
Look at all that aim assist. It could be worst. He could be playing the PC version where everyone headshot each other nonestop.
This game sold well at first but when people realized how horribly buggy and devoid of content it is the population started leaving in droves. Just another piss poor execution by SoE, and the fact that it was a multiplat MMO just compounded their problems. The PC struggled with hacks and exploits, while the PS3 constantly fought memory and crash issues.
What genre drove the development and progress of the current gen of consoles? How can you even look back at the this gen and not mention one FPS. Call of Duty, Halo, Killzone, BF? We're talking about games that defined a generation right there and none of them made the list.
CoD is basically the modern evolution of Quake's gameplay. It's simple as hell. It's easy run and gun. It's not as sim-ie or immersive like BF3. It's just an excuse to run around and pull the trigger.
Why can't I chop off limbs and decapitate in this game? If I can do it in Fallout then why not Skyrim?
This list is shit without at least two FPS.
This game is on the tail end of a lot of big releases. Which could be a good thing. But I'm afraid that by then I'll have RPG fatigue. Either that or I'm broke from all the Holiday spending.
If PC gaming is dead then why is it that Steam alone, sold three times more games than Xbox Live and PS Store combined last quarter? Do I even have to cite the numbers of Steam gamers vs Xbox Live and PS gamers online?
Oh yeah, PC gaming is dying. That must be why EA is spending millions on their new Origin digital download service.
You know what's dead? Retail sales. Nobody buy PC retail anymore.
I love Uncharted but I enjoyed this review. To be precise we need more critical reviews from opinionated source rather than fanboys and cooperate whores (IGN, PC Gamer). Reviews are completely pointless if everyone tow the line.
Ultimately he's dead on. There's a clear disconnect between the Drake in cut scenes and the video game Drake. It's like they live in two different world. The cut scene Drake is human, fragile, a every man that makes him so likable. The vid...
I've taken a day off before. But an entire week? Come'on man. Thats too much. Save that for a real vacation.
FUCK YOU Epic. No seriously, FUCK YOU. If you put content in my gaming disk then it should be mine. I shouldn't have to pay extra for some bullshit "DLC content" that I already own. Every gamer worth a damn should be fighting this with every fiber of his/or her being before those greedy scumbags at Epic and EA start demanding micro transactions to reload your damn gun.
Either you can do PC style 1080p native with CoD 3, BF 3, Skyrim, Madden etc etc or GTFO. It shouldn't be in "some games" and in "some scenes". It should be a standard base feature.
DCUO failures have nothing to do with its business model. The reason it stumbled after the first month is because it was an incomplete and contentless game. There were bugs all over, unbalanced skill trees ( dual pistols!), game breaking exploits ( dual pistols!) and the most idiotic chat system ever devised.
Now you combine all that with a perception that the PC version is being held back by the PS3 (which is true), it's no wonder the servers became a ghost town real qu...
Who gives a shit about CoD on the PC. Have you played any CoD game on the PC lately? The gameplay is broken. It's broken because it's too damn easy on the keyboard and mouse. I can regularly headshot multiple people in a row across the map using ironsights due to the lack of recoil and the precision of mouse tracking. Because of this gun fights are brutal quick draw events where you can kill three guys in a row in less than a second, and instantly spin around to kill 3 more guys as lo...
500,000 in retail is shocking considering the fact PC retail sales no longer exist. It should be lower, 200,000 maybe.
For example I own 115 games on Steam. 10 of those games I have the physical media for. So Basically if you're counting PC retail sales then you're doing it wrong.
Then there's the profit from digital downloads, which is straight up crazy high. Because if they're not Origin wouldn't even exist.
The Steam user review for this game have been totally meh. The worst offense being not able to control the AI's inventory until you exit out of the current game which is totally stupid.
Completely meaningless. Late level tankmage characters in Elder Scrolls are so overpowered that having access to this armor will be trivial. If you're on the PC this armor will probably be available for download within the first week.
I want my refund. NAO!!
They should rename it Call of Dragon Age 2.
