MS needed a price cut 2 months ago, with blu ray being the official winner, the ps3 has a better perceived value by the general public
for the extra coupld a bucks, and now that some of their bigger titles are coming.
what will MS do now?

it looks like a great game, why does it matter so much what 1 site gives it?
it was the same thing when halo 3 was out, it ,like MGS4, was getting great review scores all over the place, so what if one place scores the storyline a bit lower, they still believed overall it was a great game. get over it.
square is not "siding" with the 360 any more than they are with sony.
they still have many big guns coming for the ps3, and obviosuly for the nintendo. but square announced sometime ago that they wanted to appeal to the western market more, as western devs are making really nice profits right now.
so they are making a few games for the 360 that fit their business plan.
MS has done VERY well in the US, and even done quite nicely in europe,...
cause consoles got me off PC gaming soooo...you're wrong mr nvidia.
when I can buy a good next gen console for roughly the price of a high end graphics card, there is going to be problems for PC gaming.
oh and if consoles have no effect on PC gaming, why is your company saying that PC exclusives have no future here?

hate to say it, but FF XIII and maybe resistance 2 are the only ones I would want out of that. and FF XIII I would likely only rent.
not to knock any of the titles, they are awesome titles. but just not my preference in gaming.

any game that sells as well as the halo series will get pegged as overrated. people are arguing now if GTAIV was overrated.
It would be near impossible for a game to live up to the hype that internet and marketing can generate these days. likely we will be on here in a few weeks arguing about if MGS4 was overrated. and we'll be back after xmas bickering about gears...
I think we should set it up as a national gamers holiday, kinda like memorial day, easter, xmas, etc...

unfortunately I think odds of this shutting him up are slim to none.
it might have been worth their 50 mill if it was out before sept, but that is just too late IMO.
if they made one where you were a girly looking boy who shoots giant penis shaped swords at evil looks school girls wearing mini skirt with no undies. And then after you defeat the end bosses there were giant still motion cutscenes with tons of text, THEN you you have a successfull FPS in japan....actually, that sounds kinda fun!?

DLC should have been done for the summer because after a month or 2 a big chunk of the user base has already moved on to their next game.
