if you have to wear glasses for it, it fails. guaranteed.
I bet this one had some fanboys frothing at the mouth
"1.3 -
EDGE Scores:
Halo 3 - 10
Gears of War 2 - 9
Halo 2 - 9
Resistance 2 - 6
Resistance 1 - 7
KILLZONE 2 - 7 "
seems to me they are pretty consistent, they don't like ps3.
seriously, who cares, you either like the game or you don't, does edge's review change the fact that people will buy it? no.
it their opinion, good or bad, like it or hate it, they are allowed to have it...
but in all honesty belongs on badjoystick:)
!
Solid exclusives, an ever expanding online service, cheaper price,
I don't think the 360 needs saving, especially after the great q4 the had.
even the ps3 after the poor performance it had in Q4 does not need saving, they need a price cut for sure, but their performance in '08 as a whole was just fine as well.
although if somebody at ps3 does not learn some friggin advertising and marketing skill it could need saving soon.
I have never seen so m...
but it will not beta 9 million.
I would predict 3-5 million.
Its an untested series and the first one scored quite low(which was also branded a halo killer...didn't happen).
there never has been and never will be a "halo killer"
just like there will never be a mario killer, or a Final Fantasy killer, or a metal gear killer.
GET OVER IT.
then release the code to MS to see if they can make it play on the 360. time to put up or shut up.
but thanks for pointing out things that everyone already knows.
bottom line is when joe average goes into the store to buy a GAME console for his kids, the sticker price is what sells them.
you can argue about useless "value" and crap all you want to justify your decided console of choice, and great for you. But anyway you slice it, 199/299 for 360, 399$ for cheapest ps3 = more expensive to uniformed consumer.
ARTICLE = FAIL.
=fail...
why they wouldn't just wait and finish it before they release it?
I'm getting tired of this release it now for the headlines and fix it later mentality that the games industry seems to be doing.
gears 2 was one big one and now this. takes all the fun out of getting games on their release date.
sorry, I don't buy unfinished games till they are done.
i guess the console war is over...lol.
the technology requires glasses to work, fail.
it's called competition...jees can any idiot write an article these days?
oh yeah....internet...
anyone doubts the ps3 is a better value, unfortunately for it, in a recession it's price that matters. a wii or a 360 is very affordable for most families, and that's why they did very well this holiday season.
the best alternative is free HD from the net.
benn enjoying for months now, no expensive player and no expensive discs to buy.
but using metacritics ratings which have already been proven to be screwed numbers by the fanboys that abuse that sight is rather dumb.
it's like quoting VGchartz as fact, they are OK for rough guesstimates, but are definitely not factual.
good year for gaming though!
neither will overpriced ones...
you just have to know where to look. the problem is that it's a difficult hardware hack that's lets you play backups. and it is not well known, soon enough someone will make an easier hack that will open the doors.
here are some of them though:
http://www.ps3-hacks.com/ps...
search hard enough and you can easily find more.
if the game looks good overall, who gives a rats a** on how a few chunks of it runs?
