the question is always, does jo average notice the difference, and for the most part it's:
"not really", "not hundreds of $$$$ difference"
that's the problem that blu ray is facing.
do I notice a difference? sure blu rays I've watched and HD movies I've downloaded look MUCH better IMO, but my opinion differs from most(read most, not ALL) I've ...
but 2-3 yrs from once trophy support has been mandatory for a while I don't think people will care about the few early games in the library that don't support it.

not knocking the movie, it was awesome, but I come here for gaming and tech news, not movie reviews.
unfortunately sony's maketing of it looks like it was put together by maketing school drop outs.
hopefully the ad campaign they run in december will help, and hopefully it's not too little too late.

it took forever to get movie store access here and in europe too.
other than that the rest of the update works great.
sony and MS partner on SO many things it's not even funny.
There are tons of sony BMG music artists available for download through various xbox and MS services. there are tons of movie franchises that sony owns that are games on the 360 too(quantum of solace anyone? and tons more examples)I don't see this as something sony doing deliberately, why just hold back one part of your media empire? why would sony turn down more money? they need it quite desperately right now.

and to the tools saying "well all games are on bluray so you would have no games". The article obviously mean the games would be available on DVD, and most games fit just fine on DVD (I said MOST before the sony boys jump all over this).
had they made a non bluray option for gamers only, the xbox likely may not exist anymore, and nintend...
