if the movie studios see warner and paramount raking in $$$$ because they make both formats, they will jump like rats from a sonking ship. movie studios follow $$$, that's it, that's all.

j/k, but this is the problem I have with sony. they should've focused on games first and everything else secondary, and this doesn't seem to be the case.
get a 360 or a wii now, and then get a ps3 when the price drops if the games interest you.

what bugs me is once again sony said it will be fully backwards compatible. so another propmise broken. they could have just said "it will be compatible with MOST games" then they would have been fine.
the sony PR folks need to check their pride before opening their mouths and shoving their foot in it.
that just shows that games were not able to get ahold of the consold they wanted, which is just sad.
it doesn't matter what's in the system.
people can argue hardware all they want. The winner will be decided by the games available, and the quality of the online service, exactly as it should be.

ps3 hacked before it's even out. should make ps3 piracy rampant, and therefore cost sony even more money, cause they will make less from the sale of games.
especially makes it easier to hack it to play copied blu-ray movies. that will make the movie studies happy...poor sony. :(
I have talked with over 40 people that have it, and we've all been playing it addictively without issues, since launch.
none the less, consoles will freeze every now and then, it's happened with my 360, my ps2, my xbox, my game cube, and my cell phone(yeah, I game on it too). it happens.
as for the 3 red light as, MS indicated it is an issue with consoles that were manufactured before 06, and will exchange them for free. call them up and they will ship you a coff...
the only people on my friends list that aren't playing GOW, are people without a 360.
and if they don't get one soon. they're gone.
