the launch was a disaster, lack of units, lack of games, unfinished online network.

they said the same thing with RFOM, and that turned out to be bunk as well, take out the junk and both games would fit just fine on 1 dvd, maybe 2 at the most.

The sony fans are saying it's only the xbox fanboys that have bought the 360. so there are more than 10 million fanboys? that's quite impressive.
and fyi, it's not, I know quite a few who went from a ps2 right to a 360. biggest reason? wanting to play on xbox live.

2 reasons, and both big blows to sony's ego
1. they would be admitting that you don't need that much space for next gen games, therefore making MS right.
2. The industry reaction would be that sony has lost confidence in it's own product, pretty much guaranteeing that blu ray fails, and then making the system with blu-ray completely useless.

regular DVD's, play in 480i or P, without the upscaler they will not look as good on the ps3, the 360 will take them and upscale them to 720p or higher, so they will look better, period.
