selling a bluray drive externally would then add the perception that the ps3 is a better deal since it's built in (wether or not it is I'll let the fanboys argue about). but to most consumers that's how it would look.
and I think the DD damage to the HD wars is already done, with how popular XBL marketplace is, and it's continuing expansion though euorope, I think they(MS) will be dropping out of the disc format very soon(not that they have been hugely involved anyway, other th...
the reviews on this game have been less than stellar, I would not purchase it on any platform. crysis overpromised and under delivered.
it look pretty and all, but the gameplay is just a step above broken.
when does executives leaving a company make news here?
this is just lame.
bill leaving is news, kutaragi leaving is news, this is not.
I wonder where these comments will go.
you guys won't let go, it's a good thing 360 had the RROD otherwise it seems sony fans would have nothing to pick on.
seriously, why can't you just enjoy your consoles and let go...
ever had the popularity of halo I would expect to see it there too.
although I think halo 3 outsold resistance's lifetime sale on it's day 1 release.
it's good to see what happens when your government isn't owned by industry lobbiests..
you mean the the millions of dollars other companies are making by developing for the 360, that kind of "merit"?
stupid comment by what's normally a pretty smart company.
and something that would have me looking at getting a ps3 as well.
and while I'm not a fan of resistance, I would love to see some 60 person multiplayer games come.
MS needs to get some of that.
I'm not gonna argue about which gameplay is better as they are different games.
but the are both similar in the fact that both games have that "wow" factor as far as graphics. and I think the were both the first REAL next gen looking games on their repective systems.
IMO MS should have cut the price to match sony's price cut with the 399 model.
but given the choice of 2 consoles for the equal 399$, I imagine sony's larger last gen user base made the choice easy for some.
if MS would have cut the price 50-100$ in october, I think these numbers would be completely different.
although they still had a killer sept to xmas. the rest of the year was not so great.
bill said the 360 WILL BE the most reliable, he didn't say it IS the most reliable.
and you wonder how stupid fanboy wars get started....
how did I just download shoot 'em up HD yesterday?
they were both cracked, and everything will be.
that I mostly get matched up against canadians, not that i'm saying I have never heard any bigotry here, but it is quite better here than the US. and it's too bad that it's the few ignorant ones that give a bad name to the rest of the country.
it must be a US thing, i'm in canada and experienced issues for about 2 hours a few weeks ago, and even then I could still play games online, it just would connect to messenger and such.
whatever, i'm still calling in for a credit though:)
old folks will keep playing it. but most folks I know who purchased one within the last year have already moved on to a ps3 or 360.
nintendo is lucky they are making money from the console, cause nobody is buying the games(japan excluded, they seem to suk it up for some reason).
that as soon as I read this headline I thought of sid meier standing with a trophy and then a little sign on the bottom popping up and going "achievement unlocked"?
;)
you can't put aside a stupid hatred for a moment to give kudos when a company does something nice.pretty sad.
good job MS, i'm sure the kids in the hospitals appreciate it. and I hope the other companies follow suit to help those in need.
crappy movies hurt sales.
I won't buy a 10$ DVD because most movies aren't worth it, especially if I won't watch it a second time. and I sure as hell won't buy a 200-400$ high def player and then 15-30$ for the same half-assed movie.
most movies today are barely worth the price of an internet connection and a free download, that's about it.
good gaming xmas for all. I know I have too amny games on the go right now.
nhl 08, COD4, rock band, and still working halo 3. damn this job of mine...not time any more:)
