older codecs are not supported, I hope they add it eventually cause it would be nice to play some of my older anime stuff, but they still work through media center for now.

ps3 may champion next year, but anyone who denies the sheer quality and quatity of games the 360 has is a tool.
bioshock has taken numerous GOTY awards already, kudos for them.
MS must be quite happy about the exclusive as well.
the 360 sold 300000 more units in september than previous months.
and has been consistently selling 400-500k each month since it's release.
that 48% of 360 owners are kids waiting to get it for xmas:)

what numbers are you looking at? ps3 titles are selling HORRIBLY, with the exception of resistance(although I think that was free in much of europe)
people who bought a ps3 are not buying games, period.

considering the cost of an HD movie player, and then you add in the cost of gas to the video store.
plus the inconvenience of all the freaking snow here right now...
then we would have to buy some stupid hddvd or blu ray drive, and waste more money on discs.
