this girl just needs to shut up and get with the program.
why they would not have this when the ps3 was released, it's just such an obvious feature.
and to those who ask why would you want it in game, I use the music, and chat with people through messenger all the time. it's incredibly handy, I can't imagine life without it.
hopefully they have it soon.
even better would be if they made cross platform(360<->ps3) friends list and such, but the likelyhood of that happening is about 0.
hmv is giving up on CD's just because?
music world is going out of business is a coincidence?
sam's in toronto(a music store that's been open for over 50 yrs) is closing it's doors for the fun of it.
CD=vinyl now, let them die.
and it's about 50-80$ for an adapter to let your mp3/cell phone play through your car, get one.
with the size of HDD's and internet connections speeding up. bluray or HDDVD winning is a small short term victory.
I mean DD already killed CD's, all the people saying DD won't take out discs, it's already starting. movies are not far off.
I'd be willing to bet that the number of movies downloaded(legal and not legal) and the number of movies ordered through on demand services already outpaces the number of high def discs being sold, and is likely close to the ...
considering MS has taken full responsability and given a 3 year warranty on the issue I find it incredible that this was approved.
maybe mods are needed in more than just the comments sections.
these supposed release dates by stores are getting old and are proven false most of the time..
kotaku has shown naughty stuff before, they always put the NSFW warning.
whopdeedooo.
other than offer 360 owners the drive for next to nothing.
I guarantee you if there were suddenly 17.7 million hddvd players out there, the companies might re-think their alliances.
although even if I had a free hddvd drive, I would still be downloading most of my movies, and using my cable providers on demand service to get HD movies.
agreed, blacksite was terrible, maybe they sent out the beata version by mistake?
:)
I think both MS and sony may benefit from the wii, it got a lot of people gaming, and a lot of them will crave something more, especially when they start seeing wii graphics on their new HDTV they got for xmas.
I know quite a few people with a wii who have already went and purchased a 360 or ps3, and the ones who haven't yet are always drooling over my 360, so they can't be far off, although MS and sony MUST drop the price soon to start attracting those people.
although most hardcore gamers have known about this for a while, but i'm interested in seing a bit more before I'm ready to label it a "hit".
got great potential though, the 4 player co-op has me really interested, I wish more games had this.
this looked like a really great game earlier, but too many much more interesting shooters are coming out before it to make it worth my $$$, Ubisoft lost out on this one.
nice to see comments without all the arguing in here, hopefully the open comments will just cease to exist eventually.
I said it was a good game, but why rush it out to get something there for launch, why not wait a bit, use more power and make a truly great game?
if they could have made something as good as R:FOM2 is looking, but it would have meant that R:FOM game would have been released in march instead of a launch title would that not be better?
or is you fanboyism so blind than even constructive criticism will not be tolerated?
jackoffs....
but why is this news?
1 year after realease, who cares?
that just tells me they should have put more work in it since they supposedly had so much power left.
I feel bad for whomever wasted their life reading pages and pages of a manual to re-justify why they purchased their favorite fanboy console...
blu ray has the advantage? you think?
someone give this guy a cookie for his brilliance...
what you guys can tell from a screenshot.
although I can't see this type of privacy ivasion nonsense getting approved anywhere but the US.
patriot act redux...
yes, it is worth buying.
was interested in this game a year ago, now not so much...
I've downloaded a number of HD movies and the average size is about 3-5 gigs.
its all the extra junk that takes up the other 20-30 gigs on bluray/hddvd disks. (special features, different languages, easter eggs, games, music, outtakes, ets...)
I have no use for that crap so for me DD is here, and I will not be going back to discs, as there is no need for all that extra cost.
