I didn't mind Resistance 2 MP honestly. You still had a lot of health for intance, so it wasn't as cheap. I didn't like the R2's single player though, that was where the COD crap came in.
Did you play Resistance 3? SP is awesome and a welcome return to form.
Ancient Rome just copied ancient Greece anyways.
Joking aside, no matter how 'rooted' in reality Ryse is compared to GOW, there's just no comparing them. One has excellent gameplay and combat that is tough and rewarding on its harder difficulties, puzzles, variety, epic boss fights and story.
Ascension might not have had a great story, it just can't escape feeling redundant being a prequel, but I liked the changes to the combat and the boss fi...
Good to see that it's based off classic tomb raider.
This argument has always been weak to me. If they can't make money off it then what's the point. There's still Nintendo and Steam. For the way the Xbox division has done things, its all a token effort compared to the companies I mentioned earlier. MS has always had a very narrow view when it comes to games, they still don't do enough to appeal to people outside of the dude bro demographic.
If there's going to be competition, then better for MS to make room...
Its totally worth considering axing these divisions. For shareholders, these divisions have been destroying value.
As long as this game is more like KZ2 in terms of skill. I don't care. KZ3 was a low point of the series and this generation in general where established FPS franchises started trying to become a "Me too" and copy CoD whilst pissing off the real fans.
This guy is writing a preview based on a game he himself has not played?
It's a preview based on other previews. wtf?
The guy is saying it isn't hardcore, but doesn't mention or is not aware of how difficult this game can be.

@dcj0524
I agree with you, but I was just exaggerating. But seeing as how often military based shooters often come out. I couldn't play more than 30 min of BF4 demo. Yeah it has improvements over 3....but these mechanics should have been in 3 to begin with.
I'm still looking forward to Killzone as they tend to be well made and offer a complete package of quality SP and MP. Most games don't offer good AI and they are just highly scripted corridor a...
I haven't seen any marketing from Nintendo except for the 3DS. I was at a friend's baby shower a while back and one of the guys still thought the Wii U was just an add on for the Wii.
There in a tough spot to say the least.
Well then, I'm glad the game is different.
In a time where gamers have to put up with uninspired yearly releases and genres becoming even more and more homogenised until there's no difference between one shooter and the next, Beyond is a breath of fresh air.
Same can be said of cartoony platformers. It's so sad...Unless you got some big homo-erotic brute with a grimace holding a gun on the cover...gamers can be so narrow minded.
I just don't understand the hype with this game to begin with. Same with Assasins Creed series.
i was more let down by destiny getting delayed.
Its about mobile phones again. Don't let the intro fool you.
Its about mobile phones again.
ROFL. This guy is hilarious. He is so insecure about the Xbox one that he has to compare this game that has a kick starter budget of 150,000 to ryse.
Seeing as they're all about daisy chaining a bunch of VCRs together, they can make a slogan saying they were inspired by the human centipede movies.
lol all those are terrible. "I've seen the All in one, Input one"
but the one that says "If it were anymore real, it would be real" is just so horrible. Is this what they think of people? given how much they've screwed up and thumbled lately....
Exactly. As someone who really wants AI to progress and be more dynamic, this is excellent news to me.
pretty interesting article imo.
Any body else a little disappointed with what they've seen of the leaked footage? Environments look pretty bare with very little crowds and traffic...
Still picking it up regardless. Still looks incredibly fun.
@mrpsychoticstalker
If Ryse becomes popular, then that's a sad sign for games.
