The game lacks a bit of polish, but it certainly is great. The best FPS on the new consoles. Definitely brings the series back on track after KZ3.

As someone who lives in Australia. This is simply due to a supply issue. Demand for the ps4 is much higher than the xbone. Every shop you go to theres a waiting list for late February to March.
ROFL. There's a clear reason you only have one bubble, troll. PS+ is tremendous value. I've been able to play games I otherwise wouldn't have tried and will now purchased subsequent entries in franchises, or even buy physically so that it will be part of my collection. The ps3 alone is tremendous value with PS+ I have a ps4 and vita as well. And the indie games that have been released on PS+ on the ps4 are fun and addictive.

Yes, the XBone can do 1080 at 60fps. Just not with this game...or with many other games at the moment.

Too early to tell which console is superior? Dude, we knew the specs from the leak almost 2 years ago and they haven't changed. PS4 is objectively more powerful.
LEDS use very little power, and the DS4 has more than double the mah of DS3. I seriously doubt its the light. More likely chat and DS4 speaker are the culprit for low life.
I don't have a problem with it. I doubt its the light. LEDs really don't use much power, and the battery in the DS4 is more than double that of the DS3s. More likely the speaker, chat or maybe even touchpad are reason for battery life.
That said. Controllers do charge up faster to make up for it.

totally agree. KZSF's got awesome gameplay. I prefer the focus on refined gameplay concepts, rather than the scripted set pieces and A.I that most games have. This is different from other shooters.
They gave resistance 3 a low score because they felt that non regenerative health made the game difficult.
KZSF is different from other games. It gives you choice, doesn't hold your hand...There's a good tactical element to it.
I haven't finished SP yet, and haven't touched MP, but this is a really great game.
A lot of people trashing it for the story, but most FPS games don't have a much better story to begin with and they seem to get thrown acolades every single year.
AI and mechanics are awesome. AI does a really great job at reacting to you and not every fight is the same. You can't just run and gun and the OWL comes in handy.

So far, I'm hearing good things. Like AI is really good, and game offers players multiple paths/ open environments and tactical options.
I don't get my PS4 til the 29th since I'm in European territory, but the videos and streams I've seen back up gamer's impressions.
My favourites this gen. LBP series, Resistance, MGS4, Motorstorm, God of War 3, Killzone 2, Demon Souls, Ratchet and Clank Future series, Uncharted Trilogy, Heavy Rain, Beyond, The Last of Us, Warhawk and Eye of Judgement (Very unique. Basically have complete set of cards and still play it from time to time.)

I don't like cod. Apart from cod and halo, none of the games you mentioned are yearly releases. The last killzone came out 2/3 years ago. Same with god of war. Sony do invest in new IPs and are at least willing to experiment and provide new experiences through new IPs like the last of us, and heavy rain. The ps4 is already seeing new IPs at launch and down the line not far from launch.
On the other hand. I keep hearing how a new Mario or Zelda will save the Wii u. Why not...
I have plenty criticisms aimed at Nintendo. I want new IPs. Is that too hard to ask for? These can be developed along with their classics, but Nintendo fans think that's asking too much and that we should just accept the same software they've been giving us for decades.
That said, if I got a WiiU as a gift. I would try it out at least. I have my PS4s on order already anyway and don't see the harm in it. Certainly beats the crap out of getting a jumper or something...
If I recall, the previous patch was the same size. Perhaps it is a cumulative patch. Don't think its the maps.
