It's funny how people are downplaying the preorder distribution among the PS4 and xbone. Why wouldn't people be excited. Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are stellar games that have critical and commercial acclaim.

I disagree man. I know the game is niche, but the gameplay is just excellent and plays nothing like Killzone 3. I have no trouble finding full games.
The maps are designed differently from previous games giving players more options in traversal and putting pressure/ making room on the other team. Each weapon feels different and has different uses, or pros and cons rather than being slight varied clones of each other.

what specifically did you not like about it? It can be tough to get used to for new people coming from other games.
If your'e looking for something at a smaller scale compared to BF4. Shadow Fall has a lot more depth than COD. You really need to work for your win (The fact that there is no aim assist like in COD,BF4 and titanfall) already makes a material diffrence) and Team play is important. I mean really important.

Only time I experienced any major lag was a week or so ago. Guerrilla found the problem and fixed it.
It doesn't have the game breaking issues that BF4 has.

No. Gamers are just voting with their wallets. Doesn't matter who the company is. That's the way the free market works. Consumers and developers will gravitate to the platform that is most compelling on its own merits.

I think because it is such a huge departure from previous games. I think its great personally. Game is centred more on mechanics than set pieces. Each play through can be different.
I was disappointed with kz3, but mercenary on the vita and shadowfall are both excellent additions to the franchise that help expand the universe.
I enjoyed it as much as kz2 to be honest. I didn't care for KZ3s hand holding and on rails segments where a lot of the action just happened in the background.
Agreed. I also find it funny when people like to ignore how well the previous games did critically. Shadow fall IMO is a return to form for the franchise. The campaign in sf and mercenary do expand on the universe. I like that it deals with more grounded/ relateable themes like the horrors of war and nationalism. Multiplayer is like KZ2 but more balanced. You have to learn to be good and you have to work as a team.

I agree. An 8.5 is what I'd give it. I'd bump it up more, if GG address a few minor problems I have with the game(Just a few things with glitches). It's definitely the best FPS on the PS4. Though it is different from the previous entries it's definitely the best since Killzone 2.
Mercenary is also a really fun game.
I haven't even bought the game. The Beta was more of BF3 with some slight tweaks, but with even more problems. Amazed people are still having issues. Never going to pick up BF4 at this rate.
