These games aren't hard. They're about learning from your mistakes and getting good. That is the whole point of them. That may mean more investment than a game that is just press X for instant awesome, but I think because of the design of a lot of modern games that meaningful challenges have become lost on a lot of gamers. Once the games click, the sense of reward in the souls and bloodborne games is quite awesome.

I don't understand the problem. In real life you didn't choose to be born. You don't choose your race, religion, parents, beliefs, where you are born etc.

Seems kinda interesting and I think people are blowing this out of proportion.

Plenty of games offer the ability to create your own character. Play those instead.

I'd rather they didn't. I'd be far more impressed if they made something along the lines of DMC, or bayonetta with a beefy and deep combat system. Open worlds are over done. It always amounts to repetitive missions, collectathons and shallow combat systems.

Games need better combat systems. I'm looking at you ass creed!

I'm exactly the same way. Played the hell out of Q3 and it was my favourite MP all the time. I used to go to LANs parties for Q3 back then. Fun times.

The new pre-alpha, though in it's early stages is so much fun. It's simple, but still provides more challenge and excitement than CoD for me. It's Unreal

Mechanics, Time to Kill, the tense team and one on one fire fights. It's all there. Hope Doom delivers on the MP side as well. Would like ...

Sign me up.

I'd like to see Naughty Dog do it.

I love Uncharted and TLOU, but I'd really like to see games like Jak and Daxter make a come back. Really tired of the realistic looking games. Bring on the fun and wonder!

Got R&C preordered and I'll definitely see the movie in the theatre on release.

I'd like games to return to a funner and lighter side whilst being more about tight, skill-based gameplay.

The focus on narrative while seemingly at a detriment to everything else has really made triple A games boring and predictable.

We have a lot of large narrative driven games that are just filled with waste, like assassins creed. I'd like to see smaller, yet tighter action experiences like Devil May Cry make a larger impact on game development. <...

A lot of games and systems have measures in place to mute, block and report abusive behaviour.

If it goes beyond that, then get the police involved.

This happens to everyone not just women. I've only ever seen teenage boys pull off this nonsense, but passing legislation and giving them a permanent criminal record should not be the way. Censorhip is also a terrible remedy. Artists and developers should be allowed to create what they want even if it is only...

That has nothing to do with Manga or games. Young Japanese men are also being affected by this "Celibacy Syndrome" phenomenon.

If people like you don't want to censor anything then you should respect the developer's decision to include content that may only appeal to certain people.

Art shouldn't attempt to cater to everyone. There should just be more kinds of art.

Replace all characters in games with beige coloured blobs that do not speak.

They're just given a single alphabet for names.

I think a major reason for boring character designs comes down to art directors trying to aim for a more realistic looking game.

Devs shouldn't hire fashion designers who are up themselves and demand a lot of money to do nothing.

The budget should go towards deeper and more engaging gameplay mechanics. Something a lot of triple A games are lacking.

We need more unique art styles willing to get out there and unique in terms of art directio...

Preferred the platforming and puzzle solving of the original games.

The new reboot is a rather derivative action game. The way the characters are drawn are fairly poor and the themes aren't handled with much depth or nuance as something like Jessica Jones to make up for the mindless gameplay.

As a movie the new Tomb Raider will be even more derivative. Probably be as forgettable or bad as the Hitman movies, and the people behind those movies couldn't ...

I'd rather the franchise take a break for a few years while dice focus on creating something original.

Modern shooters are a mixed bag to me. I'm only looking forward to Doom.

Rip and Tear fun.

Spreading misinformation is nothing new for people of your ilk.

Anything to get that emotional shock value and sympathy to push your agenda.

In the 15th and 16th century. Many women were tortured, drowned or burnt at the stake for reading romance novels.

The church and conservative god-fearing men thought that such fiction would entice women to turn to satanism/ witch craft and perform evil deeds including performing sex out of wed lock. To combat this, they burnt books. The idea was that if women only had the bible, they wouldn't think impure thoughts, have sex however or with whomever they wanted. Nazis also...

Actually only a small portion of women in the west would identify themselves as feminists. That number is dwindling.

I think it's about 18% in the US.

I'm just glad that critical thinking, reason and facts prevailed here.

It's works of fiction. The creators don't owe you anything. The characters don't need to represent anyone.

Sex does sell. Why? It's science. That's the way we're wired. We are biologically programmed to want to have sex not only for reproduction, but fun.

There are scientific reasons why people desire attractive partners with symetrical facial features. Instinctively we are drawn to such characteristics because they're a sign of good health and enable us to create strong offspring. Stop trying to think that the human race isn't an animal at the end of the day. ...

People who hate themselves and feel the need to project their own problems on games (whilst disregarding other forms of much more mainstream forms of entertainment) may have a problem with it.
