SoE is a different division of Sony altogether. They're not tied to any other portion of the conglomerate, and their main objective is to create MMO's for PC.
Nonsense. I love my VCR!
Nice to see Visceral push to show the public that they want Hardline to be a game that works. At this point the only issue with people is that it's using the Battlefield IP when the game is a crime-fantasy shooter. They should keep the game at 32 players at least to draw a line from the main-Battlefield games.
It's amazing how there's little lag. The PS Nows servers are actually modified PlayStation 3's.
I have watched let's plays of it, played it, and was still scared shitless
Between the two, I'm getting Dragonball
Microsoft said that they are not infringing in Mojang's business with Minecraft. They know that there is no purpose in deluding a market that's already popularized outside of Xbox and that they won't make money if they make anything truly exclusive to Xbox. Maybe an upcoming new IP from Mojang will be X1 exclusive but the Minecraft IP "belongs to the people."
If it's free for PS+ I would watch the shit out of this.
It's mostly reported by people with weak internet and are over WiFi while at a large distance from their router. PS Now requires a consistant 5mb/s connection and what most people fail to understand is that PS Now is an INSTANT STREAMING SERVICE. Comparing it to Gamefly, a service that relies on the second-hand market of games with mail-in delivery of each game, is not a viable comparison to Sony maintaining servers for people to instantly play a game with no install, download, or update....
$45 per 3 months=$15 per month with a 3 month commitment.
It's worse when you have a server using plugins that dictate what a player can or cannot do
If anything I want this protest to be a call for DICE to return to having official servers on PC. The PC community sucks for this reason alone. The community has too much control of how the game plays on PC and that's bullshit
Now for Chameleonaire, Crazy Gator, el Crocodile (accent), and for their cult leader, xX4lDU1N_420Xx
Maybe release the SDK of Ground Zeroes and add workshop support :D the MGS community would go crazy on PC
Coming from the company that published Kojima's remake of MGS1 on the Gamecube
Not really what it would be like. The server has a plugin that's disabling the lighting. you can still see the sun in the sky but all lighting is disabled. If DICE LA is really programming night maps, they would end up somewhere like Death Valley in BF3 where you could still kind-of see in the dark.
It really shouldn't have taken the Battlefield name to begin with. It would've been fine as a new IP by Visceral
It's genius marketting strategy. Remember the stupid Tickle me Elmo toy? Creating large demand by having "supply shortages" creates more marketting and hype. What about PlayStation 2 memory cards? Sony never allowed third party distribution of memory cards for the PS2 so supply demand for memory cards was so high that black market grew for them and you could barely find one in retail throughout the PS2 generation.
I was barely lucky and owned 2 PS2 memory cards...
Story is basically about an MGS scrub who never finished an MGS game finally laying claim to the achievement by playing through the story mission in Ground Zeroes... congratu-fucking-lations on completing a 25-50-minute rescue mission, maybe you can actually claim 100% completion by getting S ranks on all of the main and side-missions on normal and hard, and find all of the tapes and XOF patches in each mission.
Share Play is a bit complex to break down what is and what isn't behind a PlayStation Plus paywall. In its true form, Share Play is an online form of Couch-Co-Op
