They went with AMD APU's this gen. However they could've optimized the system to run both the AMD APU's GPU and an Nvidia card to create a more unique hybrid-PC capable of mantle and Nvidia's PhysX and Turf Effects.
And I don't see Nintendo doing the generic season pass for it either.
You know what would be awesome? A PC version
I, personally will not enjoy Hardline as a battlefield game but much rather enjoy it as a crime/fantasy shooter that Visceral is developing. It wouldn't be getting this much hate if it wasn't under the Battlefield franchise.
I respect Visceral for their decisions and trying hard to make Hardline as contrast to DICE's Battlefield series and I can't wait to see how the single player plays out.
Yeah, all GTAV DLC has been free. And they've still been adding content since the 8th gen versions were announced. Heista may coincide with the 8th gen or PC release but there has never been a paid-for GTA DLC.
@darth Yeah, it's a statistics exploit by Microsoft. Like you said, officially-bundled games sales are never accounted for in NPD statistics, which is why when GTAV was released, a lot of copies of GTAV were never accounted for because they were bundled with a 500GB PS3 Super Slim. Microsoft managed to do this exploit by providing a deal to the public to make the NPD statistics favorable.
However, it also meant Microsoft took a considerable loss probably having to pay Act...
Or Yakuza returning West. Come on SEGA, give us the good shit. Shenmue, Yakuza. Jebus Chris
Killzone is somewhat exploitable IMO but it is a competitive shooter. TLOU can get really competitive.
It looks like the canned LucasArts build of Battlefront 3. what we saw of BF4 during its reveal was pre-alpha and this looks nothing close to that. And DICE isn't even calling it battlefront 3
I don't think WWE games are for PC...
I.e. Watch Dogs. Literally the shut Ubisoft pulled with that game made me atop buying from them in general.
I have an r9 280. Mantle provided no performance boosts fort me and since its a closed-source API, capture software doesn't work with it.
Yeah it mostly has to do with the Xbox 360 being the only system in question to only use a DVD drive. But also they won't release a download version due to how massive the download size would be.
Which ends up stirring more news in the process.
Visceral may be a very talented developer, but Battlefield is a much bigger project than anything they have done. I greatly respect them for their efforts put into Hardline, especially with them delaying it, (I'm buying it on day one) but games always have problems on launch. Battlefield 4 was simply not finished because EA wanted to compete against COD: Ghosts. Well this year, they're not competing with Advanced Warfare so they have 3-5 months more time to complete the game to a sati...
Sounds like Britain is next for a little bit of freedom. We won't let the Danes feel left out.
Didn't Microsoft remove the app paywall on XBL...
Hate it or love it, Call of Duty 4 did set a standard for the FPS genre and Call of Duty in general. Battlefield didn't truly break ground in the media/market until later with Battlefield 3.
Don't get me wrong, I fucking love Battlefield. Bad-Company 2 and BF3 will always be up there for me, and I can't wait for what DICE has in store next. (Battlefront 3)
I've seen Youtube videos of people already with the Japanese version of the game already showed the full roster.
These are tech companies with the capability of full utilizing these systems. If the PS4/Xbox One are operating a custom-built and optimized AMD A10, they could customarily optimize both GPU's to run a game and able to fully utilize both company's technologies in the GPU's.
However what I left out is the possibility of complicating a system's architect if they are able to crossfire/SLI an AMD and Nvidia GPU like this. Such a thing is farfetched in PC gaming. ...
