Piracy is no stranger in China, so DRM is something more necessary there than in the West.
Good Guy Phil Spencer
P.S. Notch will be leaving now because he's a hypocrite.
It's not a matter of keeping the sales up for it as much as it is "supporting" the PSN versions. Valve cut off TF2 updates on console in 2008 but sales still sort-of continued of the Orange Box. People would still be able to buy Minecraft on PS4 but to won't be a "moreover updated" Xbox version.
Okay first off, most features that the iPhone 6 has were already in a Google Nexus 4 in 2012. Second, other than better camera and the Metal API, iPhones have been playing catchup since the iPhone 4S.
(Metal API rant)
Metal is a better API than Mantle and DX12 because like the PS4's modified OpenGL, Metal directly interacts with the hardware to provide the best performance from a system. Basically, tapping into the "metal" of the phone's system. The ...
The $380 tag does not include case, OS, and cooling. Sure, you can pirate Windows easily, but still, the real price tag still ends up at over $500 and a 750 TI will bottlneck BF4 and other games that are just as demanding. Titanfall runs on a modded Source engine so 1080p60fps on that will be its best.
Jackfrags has a video where he builds a $600 USD PC with an FX 6300 and 4GB R9 270X and 8GB RAM.
But for Nvidia/Intel replacement, an I3 4150 ($20 more) and ...
Yeah. The biggest thing about minecraft is that its a game with no real objective. You survive and thrive the way you decide. But the biggest bottleneck... collecting wood...
It probably had less time to develop because of the announcement time and set-focus on the PS3 version when it was announced. It should be no problem fixing a few bugs that come from typical ports.
2014, like 2012, is a huge drought in gaming. Yeah, 2012 had Journey, Halo 4, and the Telltale's Walking Dead, but nothing that's a system seller, like 2014. Destiny is amazing, but other than that it's just annual releases. 2015 WILL be the Year of Gaming. Witcher, Uncharted, Bloodborne, MGS, Halo, Evolve, H-Hour, Battlefront 3, Star Citizen, MKX, Tomb Raider, Batman, No man's Sky. The list gets larger entering TGS and 2015.
Can't believe I'm saying this, but keep supporting 4chan's actions on this endeavor.
Leave it to MP1st to repost from IG. They don't know how how to fucking crop out a watermark, apparently either.
Deep Silver should do a New IP with Volition. I wouldn't go for something over the top satirical like Saints Row was, but something fresh that lets you know this is Volition's work.
This list did not put Blaziken, or Gallade...
@Venom PC is the lead platform for Battlefield development, yes. But as far as marketing goes and popularity goes, it's best to be seen frontrunning as a PS4 game at this stage. Sledgehammer said that the PS4 is the lead platform for Advanced Warfare and that'll probably continue with Treyarch and Infinity Ward, but CoD will continue to be advertised for Xbox.
Sony's opinion on EA Access won't change any kind of agreements EA and Sony made now or will make in ...
Probably won't. Two different audiences are after Destiny and COD, but they're both huge on their own and a lot of other games delayed not to just polish, but Activision practically claimed holiday 2014. COD has the same annual (and possibly diminishing) audience that's heavily endorsed on Xbox while Destiny is being built on conservative Halo/Bungie fans, RPG enthusiasts, and is being marketed as the game-to-play on PS4. So not just the shooter market as a whole, they locked down...
Final Fantasy isn't behind the PS+ paywall. Sony said that if the game doesn't run on the PSN servers, it doesn't need the Plus paywall.
The FF 13 games were on Xbox. Didn't sell well either because Microsoft tried stealing Sony's go-to JRPG status. That worked out well...
Square Enix said themselves that they wanted FFXIV on Xb1. They didn't want to do it because it wouldn't be on the open-platform server they have for PC/PS4/PS3. Microsoft won't open Xbox Live for any reason. This is the same reason Gabe Newell 180'd his opinion on PS3 and released Portal 2 as cross-platform with PC.(If it's to prevent DDoS or or other server attacks, XBL has been proven recently and before it's just as vulnerable as PSN)
https://www.youtube.com/wat... I will get in trouble for this, but it's true.
*Family Sharing* on Xbox One offered the ability to share your digital game library (but not play the same game at the same time).
Steam currently has the exact same family sharing system with the same exact restrictions. Sony is allowing "Couch Co-Op" via the internet like how they have been describing it.
I give an A for effort for Nintendo but Ik not sure it would help.
