I'm glad Sony is trying to get more and more MMOs on the PS3. And I'm also glad they're making them cross platform with the PC. It doesn't get much better than that, really. DC Universe Online is a great game. I wish more people would give it a chance.
I'm reserving my judgment too. Until the gameplay gets back to the CoD4 style that I learned to love, I won't be happy.
Any word yet on if you can use two of these tablets at the same time?? That's a deal breaker for me if not. If it can, I'll probably buy the Wii U.

A new Killer Instinct title would be awesome!! Great fighting games. However, I'd be willing to bet if one came out, they'd go multiplat with it. Think about it, all the fighting games that were Sony exclusive went multiplat.
Yeah, it's annoying how some people think that beta = demo. That's simply not the case. A beta is for testing the game out so that when the real demo and/or final game come(s) out, there won't be as many issues.

Pretty cool stuff. Will be interesing to see how/if it's implemented into games.
And of course, next gen when the PS4 and Xbox 720 come out, I'm sure they'll be doing 1080p with at least 60fps standard, with some games possibly doing 120fps. Then, the difference between consoles and PC will really be little.
Uncharted 2 and 3, and other games like Gears 2, prove that you don't NEED to spend $500 or more on a PC to get great looking games.

It would be hard to create a true God sim since God can do all things. It would be cool to play though if anyone ever tried to make one.
That's the advantage of 50GB discs. You can pack other free games alongside the original game. (I remember I got Medal of Honor Frontlines with the new Medal of Honor game.) I believe that Dead Space 2 also included Dead Space Extraction as a free game on the disc.
This is just the beginning. We'll start seeing this more and more, where developers throw in free games on the same disc, for free. I think Battlefield 3 PS3 version is getting Battle...
Sounds like you're in my predicament. I'd like to have a 3DS. I just can't justify it though just to play Mario and a couple other games. The Vita will allow me to message my PSN friends and play cross platform games, etc. Still, a lot of people will pick up a 3DS solely because it's cheaper.

I bought Portal 2, having never played the first one, and it is now my absolute most favorite game ever played. Not even kidding. It takes aLOT of patience and intelligence to get through it. Some of the middle and later puzzles will leave you...uhh...puzzled. LOL (c wat i did there?)
If you haven't bought it, buy it now! And on PS3, you get a free PC/Mac copy via Steam that can be continued on via the PS3 version through Steam Cloud.

The Spec Op trailer looked good, but I have a bad feeling that MW3 is going to literally be more of the same with different maps. I hope I'm wrong, but that's pretty much what we got with MW2. I honestly believe we could still be playing CoD4 and they could've just kept on feeding us map packs and story expansions. Then, at least, all the maps would add up over time and we wouldn't have lost all the map packs when we buy the new game. These expensive maps should carry over to ...

+1 for telling the truth. lol As much as people get mad at Sony for making auto syncing and automatic download being only for PS+, at least the online play is completely free.
It doesn't matter a whole lot what they make because we know it'll be quality. They're a great studio and now they have Sony's money backing them up. It'll be good to see what they make for the PS3 and the PS4. Gathering up quality studios and making them exclusive guarantees a slew of awesome games for your consoles. Good approach, Sony. (Nintendo also follows this method (although they don't buy as many as Sony.))
