I would buy this game in a heartbeat if they released it on PS3. It looks like the game that Final Fantasy 13 should have been. I'm hoping Versus 13 redeems Squeenix's reputation.
This collection is great news for those of us without a PSP. It's good Sony has gone to great lengths to improve upon it rather than just copy and paste.
I don't think Call of Duty has any "walls crumbling". There's no damage in those games. hahaha I hope CoD gets damage in the next generation of consoles.
Anyway, Battlefield 3 is going to rock, regardless of its 30fps framerate. I played the hell out of Bad Company 2 and I NEVER had an issue with the framerate. Its multiplayer was amazing.
Still, though, seems like a good idea to put Halo 4 on the next Xbox so people will have more of a reason to upgrade from their 360s. Just my opinion. lol Though, I do see what you're saying about it selling better on the 360.
I still can't believe they didn't wait until the Xbox 720 (or whatever it's called lol) to make the new Halo trilogy. Seems like it would be a great launch title. "Begin the new Halo trilogy only on the Xbox 720." or some slogan like that. Either way, I just hope it turns out good with a different studio making it besides Bungie.
Yeah, the older Silent Hill games were the best. HD Collection preordered (PS3) yesterday. :) Can't wait!!
Yeah, I got Tales from Space: About a Blob for free from PS+. Pretty fun game. Platformers can be a lot of fun if done right and I liked the art style of the game too.
The Vita is literally a no-brainer day one buy from me, just based on all the support it's getting and the new social networking features like Party and Near. Such a great handheld. Full PSN integration will be awesome. It'll be nice to be able to message my friends that are on the PS3 whi...
I wish I knew when dlc for Portal 2 was going to come. I'm ready to play some new puzzles "for science, you monster." :) Awesome game. I've gone back and re-played some levels but I'm ready for some new ones.
Wow!!! That game looks awesome. I would so buy that if it was on PS3. Damn. I miss playing RPGs. I might go out and buy FF 13 sometime since it's probably cheap now. FF 8 was my only RPG I ever played, but I had a tons of fun with it a long time ago. I'm ready to get back into them again.
Yeah, it's funny that people don't acknowledge the fact that Sony was working on the Move all the way back on the PS2. They just didn't finish developing it until after the PS3 came out.
lol Yep. haha This is an interesting little peripheral. Sony should make one for Modnation Racers.
It's truly amazing how far PlayStation Home has come in just a few short years. I fully expect there to be full fledged games on Home by the time the PS4 comes out. It's also cool how you can earn things in the full game by playing the Dead Island mini game in Home. Sony, you truly are ahead of the curve when it comes to Home.
I just don't like the huge controller/tablet. I like the idea, but the execution ended up being too big. It is a cool idea though, because devs. could put extra control methods on the touchscreen and maybe show your HUD or other display information. It has its potential, but price will be a major factor in how well it does sales-wise. I'm on the fence. I look forward to E3 2012 to see what else is shown and the price.
Multi-platform games nowadays are usually close to the same. Some are better on 360, some better on PS3, and some are indistinguishable. Really, it doesn't matter though too much. Exclusives are where both consoles really shine.
The bad thing is that they're trying to brag about something that hasn't been true for some time now, aside from the few exceptions. Of course, you've got games like Crysis 2 and CoD games that usually do better on 360, but mo...
I can definitely see Nintendo doing something similar to what Sony has done with PlayStation Suite, where you can play certain PlayStation games on other devices (phones, tablets, etc.). I don't think Nintendo has to quit making consoles for them to allow their games on other devices. Sony did it, they could too.
Yeah, the best Sonic games were the Genesis ones. (1, 2, & 3). I got Sonic 1 and 2 from PSN for free from PS+. :)
It's good to see more retro games coming to XBL and PSN. I wish they'd release all those old-school consoles (Sega, Atari, etc.) on XBL and PSN so that we could relive those games from our childhoods.
*PREDICTIONS*
The PS4 will likely be an updated Cell architecture with more RAM (2-4GB) and a better GPU. It'll probably use 100GB blurays running at 8X or faster read speeds. It'll probably be backward compatible (if it's using another Cell processor). The DualShock 3 will most likely work with it since it'll probably keep using Bluetooth as its primary wireless protocol. The Move will continue to be supported (it's already precise as hell) but they...
Actually, it looks to be quite the opposite. If the PS4 goes anything like the PS Vita, Sony is going to have a winner on its hands. The Vita has a party system, cross game voice chat, powerful hardware, cheap price, and easy to develop for. And, Sony seems to have listened to all the complaints from the original PSP, fixed them, and then threw in some things just for the heck of it (built-in microphone, touchpad, etc.). Also, they let the developers help make decisions when design...
Well, the Vita has a party system and cross game chat, so I full expect the PS4 to get it, even if the PS3 never does. Might be better off to wait until the PS4 anyway, so that it will work with every game with no issues. I'd rather wait than have problems with it all the time, due to some games using more RAM than others.
I don't like dlc being announced before a game is being released either, BUT I do like the fact that they're going to release something other than just maps. I'd like to see Call of Duty start releasing single player and co-op dlc, and not just map packs.
