I have to say I think GTA IV got a lot of unwarranted hate, but I don't think it shits on V. GTA IV was a great game, but V was phenomenal.
@Testfire: That graph says it shows figures for "purchasers" of the Nintendo switch, not users? I'd imagine that is accurate considering there's not a whole lot of kids under 15 with that kind of cash to spare to buy a switch and it's the parents of those kids, the 25-44 year olds that fill most of their sales.
Here's another future prediction for you: No one's going to click on 15 separate pages to read your stupid list.
How the hell can you tell that there's no implementation of a class system from a one and a half second clip?? 🤔
Having 1,000 "scenes" to take photographs of cars is hardly necessary either. Time and resources that could be better spent, like putting a proper damage model in the game.
@Razzer: Games are more expensive now than they were 10 years ago. When the PS3 and 360 released, games were about €55. Now it's usually €65-€75 for a new release.
Have the players dropped or is it down to the dlc splitting the community?? I really enjoyed the operations in BF1 but I hadn't played the game in a while. Over the last couple of weeks I jumped back on a few times to play some operations, but every time I ended up searching for games for about a half an hour with no joy and then just giving up and turning it off. I was wondering if it was down to the fact I didn't have the dlc. It's a shame because it's one of the first onlin...
I think everyone looks back at Crash with rose tinted glasses on. When they originally released they were good games for that time, but still nothing spectacular. Everyone seems to be blinded by nostalgia.
Gotta agree with you. Tekken is one of my all time fave franchises but since 4 it's turned into more of a juggling game than a fighting game.
Definitely not the prettiest game out there and I'm not crazy on the controls. The aiming seems a bit clumsy, even with sensitivity turned up. I did like what I played though. Story seems interesting.
I'd do anything for a current gen SC that went back to the roots of the first 3 games.
Q: Mario or Sonic?
A: Early Sonic, late Mario.
I hate myself for giving that a click.
If there's one game that would make me literally tear a controller apart with my bare hands, it has to be SFV. There's just so many cheap tricks in that game, yet I can't stop playing it!!
TLOU was a zombie game that released into a flooded market too though, and look how that turned out.
EDMIX: Proof this, proof that, link this blah blah blah. There's no proof needed and if you can't see the trend in mainstream media you're blind. Stop being so altruistic. It's nearly more annoying than SJW.
@EDMIX: No. I meant exactly what I said there. I don't have a problem with a female lead. I liked Jyn in rogue one and I like Rey too. Horizon is one of my favourite games this gen and I loved Aloy as a character. What I do have a problem with is the fact that absolutely everything these days seems to purposely have a female lead for the sake of diversity. It's no coincidence that there's so many films and games recently that all these lead artists/writers just happened to decide ...
It's not just Star Wars, it's everything. Like yourself, I have no problem with a female lead either, but it's starting to get a bit tired now.
You haven't even accessed the open world up to that point. That's only when the game really begins.
This was my most anticipated game after the PS4 reveal but when they announced it was f2p and that it's all procedurally generated it buried my hype for good. That trailer was mind blowing. I thought it was going to be an action rpg like W3/Horizon. Such a shame.
I rebuild my data base almost monthly too, unintentionally, as my girlfriend keeps pulling out all the bloody plugs in the house and always manages to do it everytime on the rare occasion that I've left the PS4 in rest mode. I've had none of those problems so far either. Except for the mild heart attack I get when the progress bar stops for a bit longer than I think it should.
