Exactly, it's absolutely nothing like a Metal Gear game, so why the hell are they using the name?? It's a pretty shameless push for publicity. We'll be getting Metal Gear crazy carting next.
I have to admit I wasn't completely sold on the new direction they were taking. This trailer definitely changed that. Day one.
But we're not paying the same. Game prices have gone up with every new generation. It's about €70 for a game now. Last gen average price was around €60 and before that it was €45-€50. They've been steadily increasing prices over the years to accommodate rising costs in development.
The reveal looked phenomenal. Thank God for the beta. It saved me €70

I guess it's all the future DLC they have planned. Just get everyone to download it all now and have them to pay for it later when it "releases" 😉

Yes, I don't remember any big bombs dropped at Paris games week. I'm hoping there will be some dropped at PSX though. Something on TLOU: part 2 would be nice.
The first time I broke the 200mph barrier in a hyper car in DC was such a thrill. I know GT is a sim, but I really wish they'd put some sort of sense of speed into their games like DC. I always said if PD and Evolution merged, they could make the greatest racer of all time. Let the PD guys work on the tech and physics side and have Evolution bring that thrill and excitement, one thing that's sorely lacking from GT games.

I didn't find ninja garden that hard at all. Plant a few roses here, a few tulips there. Ninja Gaiden was a different story altogether though.

I didn't mind Rogue One at all. It filled in a glaring plot hole from A New Hope so I wouldn't say it was thrash. Although I do think Disney could be making better use of the material. I couldn't care less about the Solo spin off. They have so much to work with and they decide to make a film about a young Han Solo??!! Why not make a movie about what Vader got up to during the great Jedi Purge instead?! There's so many better stories that could be told.
Agreed. GT hasn't been on top since GT4. I seriously think PD need new leadership. There's no point spending all their time and resources making all these meticulously detailed cars when the game falls flat in practically every other department. They don't seem to prioritise on anything that would improve the overall game.
I don't have an X1 so I can't talk about FM7, but there's power balancing in all online races in GTS, and they've completely stripped back all the tuning and customisation to bare bones compared to previous GT entries.
Yes, they could easily have just locked all tuning for competitive online races. I always enjoyed tinkering with all the settings to see what effect they had on the car. And I wouldn't claim to know much about full on tuning, but anything I did actually learn was from doing this tinkering in GT games!!
