I only have 3 questions I need answered before GTAV.
Will car surfing return?
Will cars feel like cars? Not hovercrafts.
Will the city feel alive like GTASA? or dead like GTA4.
If all those answers are a yes, I'll buy. Otherwise, I'll pick it up in the bargain bin.
I love how all the perks that Microsoft were talking about are now being lumped together with DRM. This is called muddying the water. Fact. DRM is imposed on you. The second you offer the services as OPTIONS they become features, not DRM. The console manufactures are welcome to offer us any bells and whistles they think will attract us to their products. What is not acceptable is bottlenecking our game OS with DRM that limits functionality for no good reason other than control of our pu...
There is no case to own a machine that disrespects it's core consumer, and sells games that you don't control or own. I am extremely relieved that one of the big two console manufactures has partially addressed my concerns. I'll be buying a PS4, and will avoid this next generation of xbox entirely unless they alter the XbONE to be more consumer friendly. Big exclusive titles are just going to be problematic for their Dev houses since Xbox will not have much of a core to support...
Dear EA. STFU. You don't matter any more. Sell off your IP and go away. No statement coming from that cesspool has any merit. They are liars and thieves.
Please, Please, Please!!! OMG!
No such thing. Sound is being digitized. All sound. It's a spy microphone, and a security risk. Mics and Cameras should not be on the base machine, and customers should have the choice to buy them or not. Kinect needs to be optional, and DRM needs to be removed. We buy it. We own it!
FU always online. FU spycams. FU bogus DLC that should have been in the base games. FU any type of consumables. FU ads. FU all the bells and whistles being showcased as something that gamers actually give a crap about. FU DRM. FU licensing agreements. FU declaring our purchases still belong to you, and are subject to your whims. FU major game companies. THE END IS NEAR! Folks, we're going back to PCs and Indie.
To all Sony and MS tards. Unless you hold stock in either of these two massive multi corps, you don't really need to SELL your console of choice to the rest of us.
I'm going to do what I always do. Wait a couple of months after their releases, and listen to all the REAL gripes. Then decide if I need to support their products.
Incase you guys have missed it. The industry in general seems to be moving in a direction that will be unpalatable for most...
So explain to me how pressing up once and right twice is easier to find than pressing down once and right once.
Next they'll be lowering the XBLA Gold price from 59.95 to 69.95.
Speaking as a former 7 year old who fired his cap guns off a million times, and was always playing cops n robbers. If the kid understands the difference between play and reality, I see no problem with a parent exposing him to FPS games.
Age ratings are guidelines not laws. Funny video!
It has a near perfect rating on XBLA. Obviously the people who are buying it, are pretty pleased with it. Me included.
Agreed the sound is a bit better than the DC. But graphically it would have been nice to have the Dreamcasts VGA.
This explains why they ported the Gamecube version (port of a port), and not the higher definition Dreamcast version. Thanks SEGA, I appreaciate you sharing the inferior version in order to position yourselves to make a few more dollars. Sigh.
Wow, what a gay article! It sounds like the guy is going to start crying.
I don't think about modding until a console is long off the market. I usually pick up emu collectons, obscure, odd games that I know little about, media software so that I can use it with multi format video.
That's about it. I know lots of people mod to get the latest stuff. Doesn't seem neccessary to me, since 9 out of 10 game releases aren't worth my time anywa...
Games were short during the Pacman, Donkey Kong, Galaga era because they had about 4-8k of memory to work with. As soon as memory improved games became longer. I've seen a few of your posts, and I'd suggest you like arcade games (Great!!), but dislike anything else (hmmm?).
That's fine, but if you think a game company should only focus on a single gamers preferences, you're a bit of an ego-maniac. Lots of people like lots of differen't things. Try con...
Even though it was nowhere near as beautiful as Winsor McKay's artwork, Capcom's Little Nemo - The Dream Master was pretty fun.
Never heard of this title. Don't get a chance to do much PC gaming these days. Though I probably should. From reading the description of the game on their website it sounds like graphical Nethack which sounds like a recipe for a great game. I'd definately buy this for my console! $10 to $15 bucks for a game with actual replayability... Who wouldn't?
Somebody start a campaign to insure this makes it to the west. Uncut. Subtitled not dubbed. Thank you.
Seven people disagree that games should first and foremost be fun. No wonder I have to wade through a sea of mediocrity to find a gem. Good times for crappy IPs, not so great for me. Looking forward to Vanquish! Bayonetta, and Borderlands seem oh so long ago. At least this year has had a couple of decent arcade releases in After Burner Climax, and Hydro Thunder Hurricane.
GTA 3, VC and SA were all better than 4. 4 suffered from crappy AI. A city that stalled after about 30 seconds, and "realism" that stripped a lot of the fun elements from the game. I really hope GTA goes back to it's roots and becomes FUN again.
