Why didn't he just sell Minecraft to his employees? The man is no hero to gamers. Just one of the many devs, who take other peoples ideas and rehash them and hope to get lucky. He did. He got rich. He made a lot of promises, most of which he didn't keep.
Great self promoter though. Right up there with Molyneux.
He's got a couple Billion of MS money, based on Minecrafts following. Let's see what he gives back?
Have a feeling it's true. Mojang has never wasted time squashing false stories about themselves. Nobody over there has said boo on the subject. 2 billion is way over valued, but with merchandising they'll easily make in the millions every year, and in a couple of decades it'll be paid for.
Same place most of the money goes for all AAA dev houses. Bonuses for idiots who don't even game. Support Indies!
Not at all. I see plenty of 10/10 to counter the zeros. Destiny is nowhere near a 10. Metacritic works on an average. Give it a few weeks, and you should see a pretty accurate score for the game.
Without an option to make my game experience private, not interested. Don't think too many adults want to spend their free time with strangers. Mostly children.
Sorry. When the first Horizon told me that the best car for a particular race was only available with paid DLC, I realized that this is yet one more franchise that will be designed with greed instead of gameplay. Pass.
If you like this crap. Buy. If not. Have some self control, and save your money for a game that doesn't reek of scam.
If Xbone has taught us anything, it's that $$$ wins the day.
Only a child could say something so asinine. Enjoy your re-makes, your reboots, your rip offs. One day you will understand that working for your money, puts the onus on you to hold the companies you deal with to a high standard. Waving a fanboy flag for any of these huge multinationals, gives them strength, and weakens the consumer. Pathetic.
Of course! Both are huge multinational companies, interested in nothing but money. They laugh at mindless fanboys. If PR can create a cola war, than it really should not surprise anyone that we have console wars.
It's real easy. Join the EA boycott and never have to think about this nonsense again.
Played 15 minutes then suddenly had strangers walking around in my game. Not interested.
Wow then I guess I won't be doing business with MS for a long time. s
Both MS and Sony are huge multinational electronics companies that care about money, and that's it. Anyone that suggests otherwise is fooling himself/herself. Go write some comments about your favourite oil companies or banks. Sheep.
EA is welcome to charge for anything they want. I haven't bought a game associated with that company for two years. Certainly not tempted by demos or anything else they're doing.
I know the fanboys will still swear by their machines and brands, but I've heard enough complaints and felt a distinct lack of enthusiasm for this current gen of consoles. Think I'll sit on the fence for at least another year. Might put my money into a nice PC.
Star Wars Episode 1 Pod Racer with the mem card expansion. Still waiting for a remake.

Err. I watched both press conferences as well as the EA and Ubisoft shows. Saw exactly zero wow moments. Zero surprises. All predictability. Anybody excited about this generation of recycled ideas is a sheep or a new gamer.
None of the gamer girls I know would give a f$#@ about frosted tips or pounds of makeup.
Kinect is a peripheral, and it does no harm to offer it, instead of force it. This article is nonsense.
Why didn't he make Mojang a public company? Making every purchased copy of Minecraft worth a share? Then double that, and split it between his employees and himself. Then sell his shares? So many interesting ways he could have given back to the people that made him, and instead, like Occulus. Just took the payday, and ran. FU Notch.
