Yeh, assumption wrong.
I take it those are Sony titles?
I'm a pissed off xbox gamer that has heard of exactly two games in 3 years for a console I'm supposed to be interested in. One of those two titles being MIA, with no release date?
So you are now allowed to announce games YEARS before we're going to see them. Great! I'm going to be at E3 with my new console the VapourBox, which is going to Have Shenmue 3 and 4. Half Life 3 4 and 5, and Phantasy Star Online 17. Might take a little while to get it all worked out, and yes the VapourBox is just a cardboard box at this point, but somewhere down the road, we expect it to be much more. The VapourBox retails for $499.00 usd but you can pre-order the ltd edition for...
This is fine. If they had written better games, they wouldn't be affected.
This jealous person has no passion for gaming or coding. They have a passion for money. Sad.
This makes the cover of dumb analogies monthly.
Only a fool would be excited by monetized elements in any game. "I'm excited by the chance to throw money at nothing!" Really sheep? Go rent a video by the minute or something.
Not depressing at all. Stop supporting a$$hole Devs like that. They'll go away eventually.
An Emmy? Clearly I haven't watched an award show for quite some time. Is that the award given out to executives who do the most cocaine when attempting to write their game consoles Digital Rights Management policy?
The problem with the game industry is that gamers cannot unite to demand fair treatment, and at the drop of a hat can be turned against each other. If goods were delivered in the real world that reflected their digital counterparts, you'd see a lot of people going to jail for fraud.
Virtually no fans of Bethesda's past games wanted this game. It isn't about hate. It's about Bethesda trying to break into a market that they never had a piece of, and their fans not coming with them. How'd that go for MS with XBone? How'd that go for Blizzard with Diablo 3? They'll tell you it's progress. I call it arrogance.
I've been playing and creating video games since the late 1970's. To my knowledge, I've seen about 20 games that can be called unique, and the rest are copies, amalgamations, and generational advances. Human beings are sheep. :/
No such thing as Mojang. It's called Microsoft now.
Real gamers don't have time for this corporate generated gobbledeegook. We've got games to play and fun to have. This kind of boring yik yak, smacks of big business, and their well known diversionary tactics. Why would big business want to have gamers fighting with themselves? To abstract the fact that they haven't done anything new for about 10 years. To hide the fact that they've tried to instintute a pay to play model that looks like it came out of the organized crime...
Exclusive, in the sense that it doesn't have a downgraded version available for the PS3 and 360. I don't play the PC versions. Didn't really consider them.
One game does not a console sell. At least not to me. I need about 3 games. When Bethesda releases their next big RPG and it's exclusive to Xbone and PS4, I'll probably buy.
Here's what to do the next time this happens.
Go to the store and buy a copy.
Is this guys site called 'The Helpless Reviewer'?
Thx. Grabbing it.
Can somebody inform me about the micro transaction situation with FH2? Although, not needed, the inclusion of that crap made me a late buyer on the original, and I can wait for the price to drop to $20 if they are attempting to sell game elements again.
The number of day one add ons for this title was ridiculous. These companies seem to feel their biggest fans have an endless appetite for this nonsense.
The Dreamcast was a ram reduced version of their Naomi arcade hardware. It was awesome.
