well, it is an opinion piece and not news but it is at least properly labeled as an opinion piece thanks to the newer features of the site. just remember to take it with a grain of salt and enjoy that other people have opinions too.
There's something else that everyone seems to be forgetting here. Sony already tried doing digital download only for a system and it did not succeed like they wanted it to. This was with the PSP Go system. They had some success with it but not the raging success that they wanted to get and it's simply because consumers like to get physical things when they make purchases.
Steam is all well and good but it is not the mainstream delivery system for games and will not...
It sounds like the chant they were saying in the movie "Full Metal Jacket".
This is my joystick.
There are many like it but this one is mine.
My joystick is my best friend.
It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life.
My joystick, without me, is useless.
Without my joystick, I am useless.
I must fire my joystick true.
I must shoot straighter than my enemy who is trying to kill me. <...
Maybe PS4 should have a Raid5 across 10 disks. That would boost performance too. :)
Seriously, though, at the prices SSDs are currently tagged at you won't see them in any shipped console configuration for a while. Price has to come WAY down to be more feasible.
Agreed. The only thing that customizing character stats lets you do is break your own character so that it's not as strong or fast or powerful as everyone else's character. And if you manage to not break your character then it's just a cookie cutter stat assignment that everyone else has anyway. The real customizations come from deciding whether you'll focus on long range attacks or fast, up-close attacks or magic attacks or physical attacks or ice attacks or flame attacks or.... well, you ...
That videogames alone can cause epileptic fits in "ANYONE" as you put it. Yes, there is a lot of interaction and immersion involved in playing a videogame but at the same time there's at least a hundred times more in real life. If videogames could cause anyone to have epileptic fits then you would most certainly have a widespread epidemic in the world with epileptic seizures as people drive down the road at night or play football or anything else.
I do applaud Sony ...
MS is doing the same thing with maps. It just so happens that Google did it first.
Then there's the other thing you're forgetting too.
No one cares!
that Obama wants to increase tax on gas right? How do you think that will solve any economic problems?
Level 5 does Dragon Quest and Square Enix does Final Fantasy. Did Square Enix buy Level 5?
The differences in security don't count? There is a wealth of differences between the way that Vista handles things and the way that XP handles things. Install a premier software package and then install a cheap software package and tell me you don't see differences in the way that Vista handles them. The premier package will almost always work flawlessly and the cheap one will require you to first right click the install file so you can "Run as Administrator". Otherwise the che...
Then his intentions were to kill. You don't carry a gun with the intention of bruising or even disabling. At that point she should have killed him.
Honestly, if I find someone breaking into my house, they are dead regardless if they have a gun or not. Police come over and ask me why I killed them and I'll tell them that I was in fear of my and my family's lives. The cop will note that and move on as if nothing had ever happened while carting the dead body away.
Which one of those headsets that you listed does digital noise cancelling? Regular noise cancelling has been around for almost forever with things like ear muffs, cotton, foam ear plugs, etc.
I completely skipped ME and went from 98se to XP. I was a happy camper with that move. Not so happy with Vista right now but I couldn't skip it this time because I needed to be familiar with it for my work.
The answer to that question is no it will not actually be "ready" by 2010. It will probably be delayed repeatedly for another 2 or 3 years after 2010.
You set up a Proxy for your PS3 and the Proxy is set to intercept the firmware checks and redirects them to another site that states that there are no new updates for your PS3. But I'm sure Sony has already thought of this and has implemented multiple checks through their site and the login process for online play.
But how often do you get a chance to see one of the executives at MS so you can throw a pie in his face for your troubles?

I'm currently in the market for PC parts and I know pretty much everything else I want because that's easy to choose. I was being lazy, though, about picking a good budget video card. Now that I have this reference I can make a better choice.
Thanks!
"It's not fake, and they never "screamed fake" on the forums. They were just confused on who that guy is. His Moby page was confusing."
Yes it is fake. You would do well to take forum posts with a grain of salt and not be so itchy to "jump in"to the fray of confusion and false information.

MB stands for MegaByte
Mb stands for Megabit
The difference between the two is huge. MB is 8 times the size of Mb. Also when speaking in terms of communication there are all kinds of other bits of information being passed along with what you're downloading so roughly it comes out to about 10 times the size. You can optimize your connection settings to get more out of your connection than just the factor of 10 though. If you have a 6Mb connection then that's 6 Megabit...
I want one too! :)
